A great place...close to the beach centrally located and excellent rooms. We landed and the management was kind to accommodate us though we came in very early. If you want to visit Pattya (Though I would never revisit since Pattaya is extremely commercialized) and stay over ( A day trip from bk would suffice), then this is the place. Extremely family and child friendly ).

We had a blast and would have loved to lounge longer in the pools. Strongly recommend the In room/resort massages as they are professional and comfortable.

As for Pattaya beware of the tourist traps and touts. This is the land of the thousand frowns and you will find the Pattaya people quite rude, but learnt that this is their demeanor compared to the folks in south of Thailand. Anyways unless you want to get sloshed on the beach, just stay within the resort and have a great time.

Room Tip: We got a room on the inside and it was very quiet.

This place was great! We ended a study trip with school at this resort, it was a great way to let off some steam after a busy program. We spent 2 nights at Thai Garden Resort. Both were great. The breakfast buffet is great, wifi everywhere, rooms were easy to find and a great swimming pool. For business purposes, guests can use the small office in the lobby. It has fast speed internet, printer and newspapers. The lobby itself has comfortable couches. Perfect for a game of cards. As said before, the swimming pool was great. Spacious and with jacuzzi. More then enough sunbeds and parasols to make the pool visit comfortable. Towels are available with the towelcards you recieve during check-in (room towels are already included, don't worry). Housekeeping is done with a smile, if you don't want your room cleaned, they will just ask if you need any of the basics, like coffee/tea, towels, cups, etc.

The reason however, that this resort is almost perfect, is the restaurant staff. They are very unfriendly and impatient. One of the students in my class is disabled and can't move fast. They rolled their eyes when he didn't sit down quick enough or if he was standing in the way. Also, be on time for breakfast. If you show up 10 minutes before the buffet closes, you will be met with hostility as well. I should emphasize the breakfast staff. At night the staff are friendly and polite. Another great addition to the pool. Beers and cocktails for a reasonable price.

Once again, a great place to stay. Just avoid the staff of the restaurant as much as you can during breakfast. Aside from that, nothing to worry about.

Great breakfast buffet with a wide selection of Thai dishes and European fare. There is a friendly omlette chef inside with a variety of good breads, juices, fruits, and grains. The staff are professional and friendly.

The room we were given was warm. The A/C did not work properly, and considering this is hot season, it made the difference between sweating in the room and not. It was "fixed" one night, but soon it went back to being tepid at best.

And speaking of temperatures, the pool felt like I was swimming in warm spit. Because there is no water cooling system for the huge outdoor pool, the sun heats the pool to un-refreshing temperatures. It felt more like a bath than a refreshing swim. The pool was well equipped with a great area for kids, and there were plenty of toys for children to play with at the pool. But it wasn't a refreshing dip.

The location is great, and we headed to the beaches a couple of days. Nearby restaurants were good, too. The garden surrounding the pool and rooms was very nice, ornate. Happy Hour is literally an hour. I thought that could be extended.

I doubt I'll book here again, but it isn't a bad place.

Room Tip: Rooms tucked away from the pool felt like the staff's quarters. Try to get a room by the pool.

Dear Guest,
Thank you very much for your review and comments,
First of all, we are really sorry that we couldn't get your air condition fixed.
Unfortunately i do not have your complete name, or period of stay, but if you like, you can send us an email and i will follow up, what happened and why your air condition wasn't fixed properly.
Usually we do not let guest stay in rooms which are not in perfect order, or where our guest not feel comfortable in.
Regarding your comment about the temperature of our pool,
Yes you are right with your comment that the pool temperature is like a bathtub at the moment. We have "hot' season now, which means air temperatures up to 38'C, our pool is 63m long and about 15m wide, with a surface like that, we are unfortunately not able to cool 1.181.250 litres of pool water down.
Thank you very much

I have mixed feelings re our stay at this property. The location is fantastic with close proximity to a Tesco Lotus shopping centre (3 mins walk to the left) and a 7/11 convenience store (4 mins to the right). Just down from the 7/11 is the Dolphin Roundabout and ready access to numerous baht buses which mostly do a circle route of the Beach Road and 2nd Road at a cost of 10 baht. Situated adjacent to the Dolphin Roundabout is a cheap and cheerful 24 hour eating place called "Kiss". Great food for very little money and very well patronized. This was our second stay at this resort - the first being 4 years ago when the property was undergoing renovations. I'd thought the gardens around the pool would have become lush with the passing of time but unfortunately a lot of the trees are heavily topiarized (pruned to shape) and whilst looking very nice, they are not functional in providing shade around the pool area which is very hot and exposed with a lot of reflected heat from the extensive brick paving. I would have preferred a lot more lush looking garden, rather than the manicured look they've gone for, but that's just my opinion. As mentioned in lots of other reviews, the themed buffet meal at the resort each night is very good value for money and worth attending. At the time of our stay I think we were the only English speaking couple with the majority of guests being German and, unfortunately, most seemed to smoke. The resort does have a non smoking policy in all the rooms and a very small area at the coffee shop, but we found that all around the pool the guests seemed to be smoking, as well as in the outdoor poolside buffet dining area. Most unpleasant for non smokers and this was a source of great discomfort for me. Apparently the "smoking kills" campaign has not reached Europe or is falling on deaf ears. Apart from the smoking issue, the rooms are large and comfortable and an empty bar size fridge is provided for you to chill your own drinks, which is a great idea. I would recommend this property if you are a smoker.

Room Tip: We were upstairs in block B with a garden facing room and it was very quiet there but with easy acce...

Dear guest,
Thank you very much for your review and comments.
We are always very grateful for suggestions, so we can improve the service and know what our guest like, dislike,or prefer.
Regarding your comments about the smoking, or non smoking areas, please be informed that we have currently a non smoking area for about 50 pool-beds around the children's pool. As soon as possible, we will enlarge this area to make a stay for our non smoking customer around the swimming pool even more enjoyable.
Thank you very much and all the best.
