The first hotel I visited in thailand was rabbit resorts, pattaya. The resort is nestled in the greens right at the beach.
I don't know where to start? Its just an exemplary place to stay. Great hospitality must say. Mr. And Mrs rabbit made sure we had a great start to our trip. Special thanks to wendy, who was a great help with a smiling face at all times! :-)

Great rooms, good location, great food and great value for money! That's not the best part though! The best part is the warmth and the homely care you get at this resort. It feels like you are amongst your own people when you visit this place, must say I am in love and still thinking I should have stayed here more than a night!

Loved the cocktail party and the games too! :-)do send me the pics if you can?

Thanks for the care! Will visit again soon!:-)
Its a must stay!!!!

Hello dear Indian Guest - Service=Kindness and our entire staff lives that everyday. Thanks for noticing these small touches during your stay. Once or twice a month we have a FREE celebration cocktail party. It always has a different theme depending upon the season. This is a thank you for all the guests for choosing our resort. It's also a time to meet other guests that are staying with us. This interaction helps create the "home" atmosphere that you mentioned. We always take cute photos and share on Facebook . Lots of fun and helps everyone feel at home while they are here. We are very thankful that our guests have chosen Rabbit Resort and want to show our appreciation. Thanks so much for the great review!! Deborah Mrs. Rabbit

We just stayed in Rabbit Resort, a perfect lay back holidays. This hidden oasis is just by the beach with homey and cosy cottages inside the "jungle". Rooms were spacious and very, very clean. Rooms included a big bathroom and wardrobe. Service more than excellent, really friendly staff around you ready to complete your wishes. Just great. We highly recommend this resort out of all hassle and puzzle of Pattaya / Jomtien, but still close enough for the other services in the area.

Room Tip: all the rooms are just perfect. If you are travelling with kids you should prefer downstairs.

Dearest Kosovo Guest: thank you for the lovely review. We try our very best to make sure every guest has a great time while they are visiting Rabbit Resort. We are located directly on Dongtan Beach, the best beach of Pattaya. We even have our own beach chair area with beach boy which is free to our guests. We are lucky to be in a location that is a very quiet and peaceful forest, almost hidden away. Less than 5 minute walk is the busy town of Jomtien where you can find many restaurants and shops. Downtown Pattaya is 15 minutes away by car. You actually have the best of both worlds just a hop away. We are also the best hotel in Pattaya for families. Thanks again and best bunny wishes - Deborah Mrs. Rabbit

We stayed in late December for three nights and had a fantastic time. It was our first stop on a 10 day tour of Thailand and starting with the Rabbit Resort was perfect timing! After 20 hours on planes from the U.S., this is the peaceful place to go. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome. Windy was there to greet us and we had no idea how well she would take care of us during our entire stay. She is definitely a key asset to this place!

We stayed in a second floor “forest room.” We had a very good sized room, small kitchenette and a bathroom for the two of us. There was a small refrigerator stocked with the typical hotel amenities, rice cooker and all the basic dishes/utensils. Absolutely no complaints about the size or set up of the room. It’s beautifully appointed. Plenty of counter space around the sink. No problem getting towels! (see photo) With the patio doors open, all we heard was birds and the occasional soft voices of someone walking along a nearby pathway.

The entire property is basically an oasis of rainforest. Beautiful grounds and pools. Everyone you ran into would stop and greet you in Thai. The on-site restaurant is fantastic. We didn’t realize how great it actually was until we finished travelling to the other hotels we stayed at. The Rabbit’s breakfasts were the best compared to anywhere else we stayed. They were full of fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, etc. The staff was wonderfully friendly and even remembered us each morning … bringing me tea without even asking.

The neighboring properties are quite different – more mainstream, high rise hotels or timeshares. I couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else on this stretch of beach. The beach is narrow and pretty packed with various groups of umbrellas and beach chairs. Despite this, nothing felt “busy.” Rabbit has a reserved section of the beach with its own orange umbrellas and beach chairs. The water was relatively calm with light waves hitting the beach, perfect swimming environment.

In terms of the “neighborhood,” it’s situated on a boardwalk with various restaurants and a few general vendors. The boardwalk is open to vehicles but it isn’t very busy so I didn’t find the few cars/motorbikes particularly annoying. You have a short 5 minute walk down the beach to the local 7-11 where you can pick up snacks, etc. From there, you will be entering more of the busy city environment.

We met the owners who were visible and available on the property. They checked in with us a couple times during our stay. Both Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit were so friendly and made sure we were perfectly satisfied (we were!). Interesting side note… as tourists from the U.S., we were definitely in the minority in Pattaya but Mr. & Mrs. Rabbit had lived in our home state (Arizona)! Small world!

Of the four places we stayed in Thailand (in Bangkok & Chiang Mai), my partner and I rated the Rabbit Resort as number one. The combination of a beautiful grounds, great restaurant and friendly staff are hard to beat. There was only one major problem. We didn’t stay long enough.

Room Tip: Second floor seemed to be great... but we didn't stay in any of the other rooms.

Hello Arizona Guests - You are right we lived in Arizona for more than 10 years. Thanks for the great detailed review! We all strive to provide Service = Kindness, in all areas and departments of the Resort. Windy, our manager, is always helping guests and making them feel at home. She has worked with us for over 20 years, almost like our very own Rabbit Daughter. She has this ability to make everyone feel right at home from the first moment they check-in. She also instills this same feeling in all of our staff too! We are very fortunate to have great people working here. It was our pleasure to service you and glad you had a wonderful time. Cheers from everyone. Deborah and Paisan - Mr. and Mrs. Rabbit

I highly recommend Rabbit Resort. Very welcoming, happy, and helpful staff. A big thank you to Windy who was particularly lovely with our young children!!

This is a gem. I have been to Pattaya several times .. this is the best resort I have found. Our children very much enjoyed the resort's family pool. We will definitely stay there again when we are visiting Pattaya. Great rooms/thai houses, delicious breakfast and the management are easily findable to discuss something or get advice unlike most Thai resorts I have been to.

Treasure it !!!!

Hi London, UK guest: Many people write about our food, it is excellent - my husband and I have eaten at our Grill House restaurant for 13 years almost 3 times each day. Luckily, our Chef Srichat is a wizard at making the breakfast buffet delicious and always changing so guests staying for 2 weeks are not bored by the same food everyday. Plus, if you have a special request such as vegetarian, he will make it for you individually. We are also flexible with the breakfast hours - we can arrange earlier or later based upon your requirements. That's Rabbit Resort - we cater to the desires of guests, you are not a room number here. Whatever helps your trip to be more enjoyable we will do it for you. Thank you for the great review - happy new year. Deborah Mrs. Rabbit and the bunny staff.

Quiet and peaceful. Staff is great (Windy in particular...she made our stay feel very personable). The rooms are like little private bungalows. Best getaway my partner and I could have asked for. Well worth the price. We plan to stay again next year.

Dear LA guest: Whether you are having a quick get-away or a 2 week holiday, Rabbit Resort has an excellent environment and room design. Most all of our rooms/villas/cottages have kitchenettes which are fully equipped with dishes and silverware, plus microwave. The bungalows and rooms are maximum 2 stories, no high rise here. We call it a "human scale" environment, you feel like you are part of the land and landscaping. Thanks so much for the nice review, best wishes for 2014. Deborah Mrs. Rabbit
