Stayed for two nights in late April, Hotel is situated on the beach front with just a service road (closed to traffic during the daytime) between it and the sand. Hotel has its own section of beds on the beach.
Pros
Rooms are set among little meandering paths filled with tropical trees and plants. they are set so that they are not directly overlooked, are quite large and have a small kitchenette with fridge, coffee maker etc.
Pools, resort has two pools one adults only and one family plenty of sun beds and a feel that you are not in the middle of a city lots of birds butterflies monkeys and a type of squirrel
food and beverage, breakfast is good with plenty of choice, hotel has a steakhouse and bar which are open to the public
Staff, Excellent service staff always polite and helpful, little details like my wife enquired about a type of tree and the manager specifically went and looked it up on the web and brought her a print out as he didn't know what the translation was. Owners meet you at check in and you check that you have everything you need during your stay
Cons
Rooms are becoming tired and no longer look like the pictures. That said they are going to be undergoing a refit this green season so that should be sorted by next high season
Hotel is a little difficult to find if you have your own transport ( wasn't on sat nav) as Pattaya is a bit of a maze and clogged with traffic

Overall
A nice well run boutique resort which feels more like the Islands than a city hotel. Relaxing and tranquil in a bustling resort.

Room Tip: All rooms pretty much the same, small cottages with a room on the ground and one on the 1st floor

I went with my wife for 2 nights just a week back to celebrate her Bday. We arrived Pattaya by 7.00 AM as we had late night flight. Our regular check-in time was around 3.00 PM. But the staffs and the owner were. so friendly and accommodated our schedule to give us early check-in (8.00 Hrs), that made our day after tiresome journey. Moreover the staffs surprised her Birthday by singing Bday wishes with a lighted yummy cake while we were having breakfast. Thanks a lot Mr. and Mrs.Rabbit and her friendly staffs for giving us a great hospitality. Though it is little far from the party joints of Pattaya, this resort offers you a shuttle service to the main roads where you can take a tuk-tuk to travel any part of the town for just 10 Bhatt per person.
There are good spas around this place which offer to pick us up from the reception .

Excellent stay at rabbit during last week. There was the curfew on, a coup in Thailand. Almost cancelled the trip. But so glad i didn't!!.
Resort is situated in a quiet area near jomtiem. Perfect location for pattaya i would say. Direct access to beach, with no traffic during day time. Initially was hesitating , considering that we like to head out to town to party and would find it difficult to come back at night. But the baht busses were running all day long.
Loved the rooms and pool side. Good wifi.
Planned to do some sight seeing, but ended up just lounging by the beach , getting open air massages on the lounge chairs.
Renovations are going on, but didn't bother us. Complimentary breakfast. But wish there was more variety. All in all, a great stay ! will be back.

Room Tip: Upstairs forest rooms

I was expecting issues trying to get a taxi to the resort from reading reviews however not once did we run into any issues. All the staff were excellent. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The pool was very clean. The private section of the beach is quiet and very relaxing. Highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to unwind and relax. Only difficulty was having to leave the resort to go home.

After visiting the main city of Pattaya which I wouldn't recommend, very seedy and horrible seeing the beach at night overrun with rats, we were so glad we chose the Rabbit Resort. Everything from our check-in until we left was excellent. Woody and Wheat were outstanding in looking after all guests and attended to all our needs. The staff were pleasant. Our rooms were superb and only a short walking distance from Reception Area. The restaurant serves lovely food but found it a bit much when you get charged a gratuity on all drink and food which makes eating and drinking at the hotel very costly. The beach on first sight didn't look much but it great deck chairs and umbrellas, the actual sand area at the water could be doing with being cleaned up. Great guy on the little beach bar who looked like Yul Bryner - drinks were certainly a lot cheaper than the hotel. Only one thing I would ask is that the trees around the pool area are cut right back to allow the sun all day and would certainly keep the midges away in the afternoon. Some umbrellas around the pool would also help. Overall a gem of a place.

I really love this place... very safe and friendly staffs... Thanks to Mrs.Rabbit and her staffs for an awesome hospitality. We reached Pattaya by 7.30 AM and the actual check in time was by 3.00 pm. But without any hesitation they gave us the room by 7.30 am.
Nice place.

What could I add to what was already said ? ... The Rabbit Resort was great ... Simply great ... We never left it in three days and took advantage of the pool, private beach area and amazing restaurant (great food at very fair prices). The staff was wonderful, from the lady at reception, to the staff at the restaurant, to the gentleman looking after the beach area (and drinks) ... My only regret is that my stay was too short ... I will return for sure!!!
