“staff is really not motivated”
Reviewed 5 December 2011

We had 7 nights in this hotel in the middle of November. We had next situation: when we just arrived they gave us De Luxe instead of Superior because of lack any free Superior. After 30 minutes we were asked to change the room next day, we agreed as we payed only for superior indeed. Then in 15 min we were asked to talk to another couple who also just arrived and "very angry" and do not happy with their room, to pay more and to move to their room. That was really shoking that we were suggested to talk to other clients to solve the problem with the room.
We agreed to change our room to superior next morning, finally next day we got our room but only in the afternoon after several time asking the reception for keys..
That was not dramatically but unpleasant.
Anyway it was clean in the room, everyday they gave clean towels, there were airconditioning, wifi, TV. Breakfast was so-so. The location is good.

We stayed there for 10 days in August 2011 as we had been already here 2 years ago.

We have been put in the annex for 1350 bath / night including breakfast which is good, except that the girl at reception was insiting on getting payment immediately for the whole duration of stay and her credit card machine would not work... To get our key we finally settled for half, and had to withdraw money from the adjacent cash machine, proof that our card was allright. Incredible welcome !

Same adamant no consideration for customer's satisfaction all stay : they never ask you if you are happy, if anything goes wrong or bad, they just hand you with no smile your breakfast coupons ( breakfast not wonderful ! ) : they simply do not care.

Hotel receives and makes money from large noisy groups from China or Russia that stay short time. They do not fancy or particulary care for individual travellers and you do not feel very welcome.

Too bad !

This was a very clean Hotel we booked for bed and breakfast, well the breakfast was disgusting the first day so we gave it a couple of days to see if it had changed NO it was the same needless to say we didnt eat there again, on our booking sheet it said there was a c.d & d.v.d. player NO we asked the reception and they said they have never had them, which brings us to the staff, not very helpful at all, didnt know much about anything you asked them and they were not very friendley the pool in the Hotel is not very big and for at least 60 guest staying there it is way to small with about 15 sunbeds,Pattaya itself is different to say the least we enjoyed our stay but would not return. We have been to Koi Samui & Phuket which was great Pattaya is not like Thialand at all.

Room Tip: Just get your air fare.

Friend of mind how recommends and booked for my 4 nights accommodation in Pattaya city. In my whole stay in this hotel i saw only a few receptionist at the welcome desk, arrival registration took about five minute and they passed the room key and briefed room direction which on the 2nd floor. Room is quite big for a single traveler like me with kitchenette attached and nice bathroom with full amenities and bath tab inside, with over looking to the small fresh water swimming pool from the balcony. . Room was booked in advance before trip and requested for king size bed when entered the room two separated bed was provided that was my first impression and disappointed.

Breakfast is right in front of hotel separated from the building it was included, everyday was the same food set up like fried noodle, fried rice, bread and sausages and a few more item that look not interested. Room paid around $70-$80 a night, we should get a bite more service and it benefits.

Only a few minute to the beach and a lot of restaurant with reasonable price, internet café it all along the beach.

It easy to hire a Moto bike cost 90 Bath /day excluded gasoline, but you must deposited some amount depending to the type of Moto bike and it brand.

After reading the other reviews of this hotel I was pretty worried I'd booked the wrong place for me, my husband and 2 year old to stay. However, thinking that the last review was written in 2009, I thought we should try it instead of booking somewhere else. We booked at junior suite at about £50 a night through booking.com, so it seemed good value as we'd booked it fairly last minute and wanted the bigger space anyway.

The staff were apathetic at best on arrival- although they brightened up considerably at the sight of my daughter and were really nice to us and to her (as all Thai people are with kids). The room was big and this was great because it meant my daughter in her baby cot could be well away from us. The room had a nice balcony looking down over the pool, and the pool area was really nice. We spent loads of time in the pool and my daughter loved it.

The breakfast was bad - the food had been left out for ages and a lot of it was cold and I just generally didn't enjoy it at all. However, there are other eating options around so it isn't a big deal.

it is about 8-10 minutes walk from Jomtien beach. The actual location of the hotel is quite hard to find and when we stayed there was road works going on the main road where the road to the hotel comes off, but apart from being a bit messy we didn't hear then and they didn't affect our stay at all.

There is a really nice place to eat out the back of the hotel called PM cafe. It is cheap and the food is cooked fresh and the people are really nice. We ate lunch there every day as it suited us to be close to the hotel for our daughter.

Pattaya itself isn't really a great place to visit and we won't need to go back, but the hotel was a bit of an oasis for us in the heat and overwhelming touristy-ness of the area and we enjoyed our stay there.

We are currently staying at the Aiyaree Hotel at Jomtien Beach for 4 weeks. It is very central to all services, beach is 250 meters away, food is excellent with a very large selection of nearby restaurants and food carts, close to beer bars, pool games and shopping. About a 10 minute taxi ride in to Pattaya City.. and there are not enough words to describe Pattaya!! It can be the heart of shopping, night life, casual bars, full-on go go area, fine dining, street food to die for, and awesome scenery day and night.
Aiyaree suited our purpose for this trip, as our final decision to travel was not made until just before Xmas.. our party is Phil & Rhonda (early 60 & mid 50), our daughter (34) and grandson (14 months) our grand daughter (11), two other couples, one with an 8 year old girl.
There is something for everyone, lovely pool, great staff, large rooms, some 2 bedroom suites, breakfast is A$4.50 in the restaurant downstairs, or you can organise a package that includes breakfast daily.
We prefer to use the cook top, jug, toaster & microwave supplied in our kitchenette some days, as one doesn't always feel like a big breakfast.
Very happy to recommend this hotel to anyone who wants quiet, privacy, good value and still be economical and close to all facilities.
We also have local apartments and a fully furnished 4 bedroom house we can recommend in this area.
There are several supermarkets within either a 10 minute walk, or a 15 minute bus ride, that stock most common Australian, USA & UK lines and these supermarts are easily comparable to Woolworths, Coles, Walmart, K Mart & Target. One can buy alcohol at almost any 7/11 store, and if you want to visit Thailand and use your mobile phone, DO NOT get international roaming, instead, get a local Thai GSM sim card.. worked in any Aussie phone we have tested.. if your phone is locked to a particular provider, do NOT pay that provider a premium to get out of your contract, bring the phone & charger with you, take it into almost any phone shop here, and for 10 bucks, they will unlock it!
IF you don't want to get it unlocked, just buy a brand new one here from about A$30.00 and it will work in Australia, no problems.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and would have stayed longer if only the hotel was up to standard.
The hotel is located right on a main road with constant traffic noise and clouds of dust from the road works are continually being thrown up by the flow of heavy goods vehicles going to the cement works around the corner. There is also a never ending stream of taxis and motorbikes driving past 24 hours a day and you will never get any sleep!! I was absolutely shattered to say the least.
The food is terrible and only just warm with a very poor menu and bad service nobody seems to know what is going on.
The hotel is very quiet I scarcely saw anyone else just people complaining at the desk about hidden charges.
Avoid this hotel like the Plague you have been warned!! NEVER AGAIN!!
