Reviewed 6 November 2011

Our stay is on the very first date of November'11 and our room is a standard type one.

Pros :
- Good location, found that it's not in the busiest area of the town so good for relax, especially one who drives car
- Breakfast is great. Food quality & selection is above average.
- Pool area is nice, good for those who wanna swim to relax, or juz to take a photograph, either is good
- The hotel has seen as modern or juz refurbished. It's an up to date hotel.

Cons :

- As a 3 1/2 to 4 star rating hotel; I should expect more. But sadly, this hotel doesn't provide the basic amenities like other hotel in this level should.
.. First of , there is no hair dryer. We need to call to operator to ask for a "borrow" hair dryer. The reception explained that as my room is a standard room so there's no hair dryer !
.. Second, there's no bathtub for this 3 1/2 to 4 stars rated hotel, again it's a standard room.
The night before i get to this hotel was a hotel rated 2 stars but there's a bathtub!
.. The room is quite small, cannot unfold the big size of suitcase if you brought.
-Our room is on the 4th building which is right on the street. So no matter at 2 pm or 2 am, the road noise is there.
- Upon arrival to the room, we still found the used body shower cream in the restroom not yet trashed by room service.
- Parking lot is limited. Some of guests need to park in the "soi (small street)" and security coverage is questionable.
- Reception people could use a bit more friendly people. They're quite a bit cold during our stay. Maybe they're tired of full booking period during flooding situation in Thailand.

All in all, at the rate of $60-$80 of a standard room we spent, we won't go back.
The hotel maybe juz cool for a short stay, but again, with this money there's a lot hotel that could do better than this one.

Room Tip: Avoid the room on 4th building. It's noisy due to located on the road.

I stayed here from 10.th August-14 th August. My room has street view (i am accustomed to becuase it was my 2.nd Trip to Thailand). Breakfast good, atmosphere familiar. The last night i stayed there the elevator makes noises so i can`t sleep. But maybe affected only some roooms...the other with viewing the pool i think not affected.
Good visitor policy (no additional fee for one guest). Good for longer stayings!

We have stayed in Mantra Pura resort from 8th of august till 12th of august , It was to far away from the main centre ,to get to the centre you need a transport. Instead of spending money on transport spend it on the hotel and stay a better place in the main centre . I didn't feel secure at all there is no security in the hotel ,anybody would walk in to the hotel and no one would know . Our first two mornings breakfast was a buffet and then they change it for alacarte (good value if you stay in this hotel make sure, get breakfast with the room ) Rooms were clean .!!!!!
Reception staff wasn't very helpful on tour arrangements . If you want to go places you do your own research .

We had to go to Pattaya as relative took ill and was put into Bangkok Hospital Pattaya so we found this resort nearby. We combined this with a family holiday.Overall the resort ticked all the boxes, competitive price, clean large rooms, air conditioning(a must),swimming pool with bar and handy with location to hospital and downtown Pattaya Beach/Walking Street. One bad thing to report, the lack of hand railing around the pool area,(my daughter 10 years old slipped ona wet footpath hurting her back and she could of fell into the pool) So this is the only negative about this resort. Service and resturant were great.A little bit of trouble with language barrier but we managed.

Room Tip: Get a room over-looking the pool. You can get good deals on rooms.
