This property is situated on the walking distance from the beach road. This is a bed and breakfast hotel, but having all the facilities of a star hotel. Staff is very responsive to the needs. They don’t rush but provide the service. Pool is very nicely placed. The afternoon snacks buffet at pool side is amazing. Rooms are quite big and have daily need kits. Rooms are clean. Towels are hygienically cleaned but some were having holes. Breakfast is not lavish but nice filling having all essential items of breakfast. Snacks are also good. For approaching the walking street you can take TUK TUK service by paying 10 Baths per hope on. Tuk Tuk service is very approachable and 2 minutes’ walk away from hotel. Provision store is located at 5 minutes’ walk for those who want to carry stuff to their room.
If you are on a leisure trip and don’t want to spend much on room rentals and yet want to enjoy the luxury of star hotel, this might be the right choice.

This hotel is about 200 meters from the beach, at the quiet end of beach road, but with easy access to shops, restaurants and entertainment. I stayed for only one night, (turned up on spec) and found it good value...1,300 baht for a nice spacious room and an adequate breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, with quite good English. The hotel seems to be very popular with Eastern Europeans, mainly Russian...I think, and with families and solo travellers alike. There is a nice pool to the front of the hotel. There was no safe in my room, although the safety boxes at reception appear to be very secure. I will go back.

Been to Pattaya for the first time, chose this hotel mostly because of good location, price and good reviews found from another sources plus my tour manager recommended it.
We came to the hotel two hours prior to official checkin but the reception guys almost at once gave us our room.
The rooms are actually very good for a 3 star hotel- ours had two beds, a TV set ( yes not an LCD, but show me who's watching TV on vacation in Pattaya?!!)), a big nice window facing back yard with a nice view. The walls looked a bit bare-no pictures just plain white walls, but actually who cares, as long as U have a nice clean room to spend a night in? ))
The bathroom is in a good condition - normal clean bath with a shower, all little convenience things like shampoo, soap, shower cap and so on and so forth. And a big nice mirror- very useful for us girls! ))
Our room was cleaned daily, yes we usually left 20 bats as a tip, no idea whether that was the reason or not. Anyway nothing was stolen from our room, though sometimes we left there phones, money, jewellry etc right in the room.
They have a free safe at reception with an access to it 24/7 just ask for it, so most valuable things we kept there.
The hotel got a small territory but still it got a nice swimming pool again with an access to it and pool towels 24/7 just at reception.
Stayed in this hotel for 9 days on BB basis- the breakfasts ar enot luxurious but they give you almost everything you need to have a normal continental breakfast - eggs, noodles, rice, meat, toasts. tea n coffee and fruit. Not a very wide assortment- but dont forget it is not a 5 star hotel. And the food was good amd more than just edible. Anyway you can always choose what U like on your way in the city according to your preferable spending.
They say this hotel is mostly "inhabited" by Russians and Chinese. Well we saw only Russians there and a couple of Indians. So if U dont mind such company- welcome!)))
The staff was very helpful- just smile and ask what U need whenever U need. Yes they dont rush seems like it's the way of living.
The location - ideal: calm corner, not loud, away from discos n bars and actually not too far from Walking street. Easy to find your way just go out from the hotel and here U are at once on Beach Road - choose any tuk-tuk and it will reach U to Walking street in 10 minutes maximum. Or U can walk along the Beach road which is very nice n romantic in the night.
On the whole I would certainly recommend this hotel to my friends or anybody who is interested in a small calm hotel with a nice location in the centre of Pattaya.

I have been in many many hotels, staying for both work and leasure. I was 'forced' to book a room here due to the bangkok flooding which have driven everybody to Pattaya causing almost every hotel to be fully booked.

The Crown Beach is bad in every way possible:
1. The room.
Everything is old, very old and in poor condition. The door is opened with a key and not what is the good standard today, with a keycard. Bed is a joke, must be as old as the hotel.
Bathroom is horrible and the showerfixture hadnt been cleaned in years, with half the holes clogged up with calcium. Water beam is all over the place.
Toilet is of the type with a 3inch lever you push down...except this one you have to hold down for a good 8-10 seconds before it actually flushes. Unacceptable.
Room has NO amenities. There is an old and very noisy refrigerator and thats it! - not even a spoon can be found.
The in-room aircon doesnt function properly and is very noisy. Set it to 30 degrees which is max and even then it was very cold.
The entrancedoor is not only thin as paper but also has a gap in both ends, allowing all the noise from the hallway to be heard. THAT noise is described later down....
Room is not clean and overall it appears dirty, worn and not pleasant.

The NOISE at this hotel is so loud and totally unacceptable - the central aircon is very loud and apparantly placed somewhere on the 7th floor. Very disturbing.
Even more disturbing is the cleaning staff that have cellphones ringing CONSTANTLY when they walk up and down the hallways. That very very loud ringing tone can be heard from early morning til late afternoon. This interrupts any normal beings sleep at night.

Staff is not very helpful and appears very indifferent, they dont seem to care about anything. Ordered food once in their restaurant and it took them 25 min to serve me fried rice w/chicken and 3 eggs.

Internet/wifi - No.

Working environment with a table and decent chair - No.

Pool area is 'just' a pool, nothing else.

Crown Beach is very old and I can not in any way recommend it. Its lifeless. Choosing this hotel can only be for the young clientel who just wants a bed and a place to crash, with no intention of staying or eating at the hotel.

I can only give it lowest rating - 1 star.

Room Tip: Hard to say if the central aircon noise is only on the 7th floor but I advise to choose a lower floo...
