Fairtex Sports Club Hotel
Ranked #105 of 463 Hotels in Pattaya

The Fairtex could be as budget or as comfortable as you want. We opted for a budget trip and paid about $50 US for their basic rooms which are at the back of the property separate from the main building. This included breakfast buffet and use of their great gym on property which also catered to their boxing and MMA students.

Pros - Very simple, clean and modern rooms. Breakfast buffet included which was always delicious mix of western and Asian foods.

Cons - The basic rooms were not plumbed for hot water and used the portable hot water heaters inside the showers which only made the water luke warm. If you need hot water, then pay a little more for the "deluxe" rooms in the main building or their suites. I was disappointed by the lack of a hot shower but sucked it up for a few days. Complained to staff but they really couldn't do much except offer the deluxe rooms at a higher rate. Other issue was the bed was harder than most but decent. Very clean linens. Hallways also noisy as most of the residents are younger and there to party late. You will inevitably hear some of them coming 2-3 am in the morning drunk sometimes.

Overall, happy with the stay. Staff and bell service very nice and courteous. Also a very good raw food restaurant on property called Rasayana which was by far my favorite meal of the trip. A must try. I never expected raw foods to taste so good. You won't regret it and healthy too.

Room Tip: If you want a hot shower, opt for the deluxe rooms in the main building instead of the cheaper basic...

Came here to do some training and relaxing. The staff at Fairtex helped me achieve both. Booked a deluxe room and on check in was upgraded to grand deluxe! The staff are very polite, helpful and genuinely pleased to see you. My room was spotless and cleaned daily with great quantity of clean towels. The gym, BJJ and Muay Thai areas were very good condition and had everything you'd need. They have an excellent pool and breakfast area. The good thing about Fairtex is it's location. It's close enough to the Pattaya night life, but far enough away it's not in your face. I definetely recommend it and would come back again.

Room Tip: If budget allows go for a deluxe room, it's worth it in the end for space and location

We stayed here the first week we were in Thailand. We were 9 people and we all got booked in room right next to eachother, right next to the breakfast.
This place is perfect if you are here for training! They offer instructors in lots of different sports, and of course Thai Boxing.
We were there as dancers, and without any extra payment we were alowed to borrow the fitness rooms as long as they weren't booked. I also got hooked on thaiboxing, and as someone who has never boxed his entire life i was a little bit afraid i wouldn't be able to train when the instructors didn't speak the same language. Never have i been more wrong!
The instructors were both friendly and helpful, and adapted to the level of the people really well. They even helped us checking out Muay Thai matches in the evening, fixing good seats and nice prices for us.
The staff was always helpful and the cleaning ladies didn't seem at all bothered when we came home without a key and needed our door unlocked.

This place was a Great experience for me and i hope as many people as possible come visit them in the future.

Before we arrived we have read a lot of good comments about this hotel. Thatswhy we choose to stay here. If it is nice and clean and the best quality than this is what we looking for. But FORGET IT! The room is like a hole. There is no natural light, the bathroom is disgusting. The toilet also. You can hear every noise from the floor, also in the early morning.
The walls like if it would be from paper.Today morning we just wake up at 6 because somebody begin to play basketball under our room on the court. They try to offer you the most expendive services at the reception desk. The consierge doesn't speak english.

I DON'T recommend it! Choose an other hotel if you would like to enjoy your staying in Pattaya!

I had this booked months in advance. My room wasn't in the main hotel it was by the pool. I came here after some friends have trained in Thailand so thought id exp it. Loved going to the training sessions was completely different to training in the UK had my personal trainer Cha met people all round the world and yodi the champ.

I had the standard room and it was clean and big the cleaners were friendly when i saw them. Its north of pattaya so out the way of the bars and that which i wanted, every day i walked down the beach. Only 20bt for the taxi down to walking street. Food was good small restaurant not too busy and i ate there every night and some mornings. Only thing i could mention for improvements the air con unit is a bit loud at night time when trying to sleep maybe upgrade them at some point.

Looking at coming again in 2 weeks for 3 weeks :-)

Fairtex - We stayed here for 2 nights on our way from Bangkok to Koh Chang, the resort of Pattaya as a whole didn't really impress me, probably because I wasn't looking for a Thai lady friend which is what the whole resort seems to be built on, but Fairtex Sports Club & Hotel - Amazing !

You are met in a grand entrance with extremely helpful staff, a bell boy came and took our bags to a golf buggy which then whisked us off to our room which was very clean with extremely modern decor & furnishings, which to be honest lacks a bit of character, but this isn't a criticism, more of an observation.

Our shower wasn't very hot and we had to keep promoting housekeeping to leave toilet roll (which for some reason is a reoccurring trend we have encountered in Thailand)

The complex as a whole is kept Spick and span by an army of maintenance staff. The gym facility (free) and Mauy Thai training facilities (extra fee - 800Bht -£17:50 for a walk in two hr session) world class. We were there over the new year period (31st Dec 13 - 2nd Jan 14) so the scheduled fitness classes, of which there are too many to mention where unfortunately cancelled.

We were staying on the bed and breakfast option and the buffet breakfast was outstanding... Cooked breakfast with eggs cooked to your choosing (scrambled, poached, boiled, fryed, omelette) pancakes, big choice of cereal, fresh seasonal fruit, fresh fruit juices, tea, fresh coffee, hot milk... The list goes on to say its that good that we ate there for lunch one day and dinner another...

Whatch the bell boys... We wanted to watch some Mauy Thai in Pattsya one evening... Price 1200Bht, the bell boy swore to me that the tickets were 1800Bht and that they were sold out for the evening we wanted, I took the gamble and went to the stadium... And guess what 1200Bht on the door, no problem getting in.

Apart from that... All in all a cracking place to stay, would I stay again - Yes !

Very good hotel for training.
Nice staff, large swimming pool, gym, one can train thai boxing, take work-out classes or different types of yoga. Really great place for people who loves to combine vacation with training.
