“A great choice”
Reviewed 3 November 2012

A last minute booking and what a good choice it turned out to be. There are sea-view rooms with balcony for about 2000bt but I got a non-seaview for 1400bt and it was a big room with tea/coffee/TV/DVD/ free wifi and plenty of space.
It is only a small hotel but it has a spa and small gym (where the machines actually worked!) and a lovely reading room with a good supply of books and DVDs and a few games. There is a free PC with wifi in there as well and another in reception.
The breakfast was very good with a cooked meal, lots of cereals, fruit, toast, juices, tea, coffee, cakes etc.
The room has a fridge with complimentary 2 bottles of water, can of beer and 2 fruit juices a day, much more than normal.
The staff are very friendly and can't do enough to help and the beach is just across the road.
It is a long walk to Walking Street but a tuk tuk is only 10-20bt.
A thoroughly recommended hotel, unless you go by car as there is virtually no parking.

I visited a sin-city Pattaya last week. I stayed at the Baboona Beachfront Living on the North Pattaya Beach Road. Fantastic location with a great view of the entire coast line right up to the famous Walking Street. I'd booked the hotel on Agoda, com and got a deal of a superior beach facing room + breakfast. I landed at the Suvarnabhumi Airport Bangkok and we traveled to Pattaya upon landing by bus. I'd booked the bus online as well with Bell Bus Services @ 200 Bhat per person. They bring you to Pattaya by bus and then individual hotel transfers in a mini-van. Which was a great idea so that you don't have to stress yourself out once you land in trying to find transportation and your hotel location.

Any how, we arrived at the hotel and had to pay up a 1000 Bhat deposit while checking in. This wasn't mentioned on the hotel booking site or on their own website but I guess it's just a safety deposit which they returned when we checked out.

Our room was very beautiful. Nice, warm interiors with a comfortable king-size bed. A balcony that looked out on to the main road and the beach right across. Simply sitting in the balcony and looking out at other tourists walking about the beach was quite entertaining. By night the view turned even more beautiful as the lights from various night clubs, hotels and shops garlanded the coastline.

Another benefit of this location was that the boat that took us for out snorkeling, deep sea walking and para sailing trip left from right across our hotel.

The best part about the room was the complimentary stuff we got. On a daily basis we got 1 coke can, 1 local beer can, 1 small milk carton, 1 bottled water and 1 small fruit juice carton complimentary. Rarely does one find so much complimentary stuff made available from the minibar!

The staff was courteous and helpful in giving tips and advice. They also have a common computer in the reception area where you can check emails or surf the net. The breakfast buffet needs a but more variety but whatever food we ate was quite alright.

Room Tip: Always go for the beach facing rooms. They are really good!

My second visit to this hotel and again, I just find that everything functions properly.
but above all friendly, smiling and helpful staff.
Has lived both in studio room on the third and sea view on the 4th
both are excellent, the area is quiet and calm on both sides but there is something about being able to sit and enjoy the view over the water but it also costs ..........
Can only recommend this hotel.

Recently stayed at Baboona BeachFront Living whilst at Pattaya on holiday.
The name says it all, across the road from the beach approximately 3 kms to walking street (not my scene).
The hotel was immaculate, large room with a balcony overlooking the beach. the rooms were cleaned every day, the staff very accommodating.
Breakfast was included in the room rate (Western and Thai).
There is a small gym on the premises, a substantial library and a collection of DVD's for guests use.
I did not get to use the restaurant but the menu looked most inviting.
Despite the proximity to Beach Rd, very little noise intruded into the room.
There are a range of excellent eating venues near the hotel and a 7 eleven just down the road.
The only disappointment, the hotel does not have a pool.
Despite this, I would gladly book again.

Room Tip: Book through Trip Advisor and include breakfast option.

We travelled as a couple. This is a great hotel which is located just opposite the beach front. Location of the hotel provides great convenience in moving around key attractions. The "ripleys believe it or not" inside royal garden plaza is a must see. Great rooms which are very spacious with super bathrooms. Overall a great place to stay for couples and families alike.

its really value for money; in which each room equipped with nice terrace facing directly to the beach.
The room is huge with nice bed and interior decoration.
The Breakfast is quite decent with choices and good food.
to the beach side just few step away from the hotel.
Nearby had many good restaurant to get any food of your taste.
The only lack of this hotel is;
Do not have space for car parking; so had to park in the street, which hard to get space to.
The Wifi signal quality is very week and drop mostly. that cause trouble for commnunication over internet.
No staff greeting us; and giving help when we arrived at the hotel front.... and had to struggle to get space to park the car, as well has to carry all our luggage on our own.

Anyway I still wish to recommend this hotel to others and hopefully the services quality can be improved soon

Room Tip: to get good view from the terrace; 3rd floor up are much recoomended
