you get what you pay for! somewhat bleak room, you would not want to stay in the room to relax,
very uninviting, towels were a disgrace, would not dry a dog with them, only saving grace was its location which is good for all round entertainments, i moved out after i night, only use this hotel as an emergency sort of stop over before moving on to better, reasonable value but there is better nearby for the same price,

Room tip: pay a bit more and stay elsewhere

stayed at this hotel on august 4th thru september4th 2012,very budget hotel 12,500 bahdt for my stay witch is about 375.00 u.s. dollars.Very close to soi l.k. metro and bars.but you get what you pay for,the room had aircon a t.v.,wardrobe closet a balcony and small desk. There was mold in the bathroom and the small shelf was falling off .A lot of middle eastern men stayed at this hotel, bed was made every day but sheets were not just reusued.would not ever stay at any sawasdee hotel there are a lot better hotels for a little more money.Such as the monopole hotel across the steet very nice and only 1000.00 bahdt a night.the sawasdee did have room service and freindly staff, but hotel in poor shape

Room tip: if you go in the slow season take your time to find a nice room, there are many that are very nice for anywhere between 1000.00 and 1500.00 bahdt a night

I made an early-bird booking: a superior double for 726 baht, breakfast included.
What did I get? A 20sqm room with fridge, remote controlled AC, desk, wardrobe, balcony, electric kettle, asian-style shower, and lots of friendship, chats and help from the reception.
Breakfast is set breakfast: a choice from 5; but coffee, thea, juice, toasts, butter, marmalade fruits...as you please.
The hotel is in the middle of all entretainment dens, shops, etc.
If you come by songthaew from the AC busstation(make sure they do not cheat you for 20 or more baht) you have to walk 350 meter.
Safety boxes for free at the reception and noise also for free! There is no noise from girls coming in/going out, but the hotel has to order a carpenter to adjust the doors, at least on the 5th floor. You can ony bang-shut them.
You get lots, for not so much momney. One of the better hotels of the group,, if I may say so.
