The rooms and hotel itself was excellent. We had lots of fun in the pool, and the bar was great! The staff were really friendly and lovely, and were helpful with arranging activities. I liked that it was located away from Phuket itself. It was helpful having a little shop within the resort itself.
The only negative feedback I have is the food - we would have really liked some vegetarian options (there was one and it wasn't available when we first arrived), and it was quite expensive.
Great massage in the day spa!!
If you're considering doing the boat trip to Phi Phi - do it! We almost didn't because we expected it to be really busy, and we get to go to the beach all the time where we live, but we were glad that we did because it was a great day. It was busy, but actually not nearly as bad as we were expecting.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom village on the beachfront. Our accommodations were fabulous waking to the morning sun and beach. The restaurants prepared good food, but it might not be what you ordered. It was difficult to eve get service at the restaurants. Waitress spoke some English, but didn't understand it. She did not speak Thai either. The Japanese restaurant was closed during our stay. The service was frustrating. We stopped eating our dinners at the resort and went into town. Workers dumped trash on the beach in front of us. Finally, my husband picked it up and threw it away.

Overall it was ok, the rooms have been renovated recently and very clean. If you choice the pool villa you will enjoy a private splash at any time and the size is really wow.... Restaurants and bar prices are way above the market since it an Islam destination even though very close to Phuket.
Great choice if u wanna run away from the crowd at very well located to reach Kho Phi Pho by speed boat

The overall impression was really good. When I arrived at night with the Longtail boat it looked all very pretty. The check in was fast and uncomplicated, and the staff was really nice. After they brought me to my villa i went to get some dinner. The food was good, but i think too expensive for the quality. The waiter was nice but i coudn't even eat in peace because he was talking to me all the time.
When i went back to my villa i saw that the AirCon was dripping water from the ceiling. I was tired so i only put a towel underneath it and thought that housekeeping will fix it the next day. But the only thing they did was put a wastebasket underneath it... that was kind of disturbing to me.
In the daylight the Villa didn't look so good anymore. It was kind of dirty with stains on the walls and the cupboards in the kitchen were so dirty the doorhandles were sticky and the door was hard to open because it was so sticky. There was a dirty plate in the cupboard. Two of the barstools in the kitchen were broken.
Also the is some kind of generator which depending on how close you are to it, is really loud!

Overall I have to say, I enjoyed my stay! It was relaxing and the staff was really friendly. But it is way to expensive for how the villas (or at least mine) looked. I imagine ist was a wonderfull resort once but ist a little run down by now. So either renovate, or you'll have to go down with the prices.

I've been to the The Village Coconut Island 4 times. After my recent trip i have to say i'm quite impressed by the changes that were made from last year. As this was my girlfriend's 30th Birthday i had pre-organised with the hotel a few surprises for her. The staff were extremely helpful and co-ordinated everything with perfection. From red roses to lighting sky lanterns on the beach, the staff assisted in every way possible to make it a perfect day.

The menu at the Deli and Tamarind restaurants has been improved and the new restaurant Koko is amazing. This resort is highly recommended for many reasons. Affordability, service, privacy, entertainment, beach sports, swimming pool, clean (not over populated) beach and much more.

This place is a little gem that hasnt been spoilt by overcrowding on the beach. The only negative point i could make which really didnt bother us at all was the fact that the electricity ran out for about 2 minutes but what can you expect from such a remote paradise-like island.

Room Tip: Choose for Sea View or Grand Beachfront villas.

we visit coconut island for a week from march 1 till march 8. the resort is situated on a private island so that make the retreat very relaxing we upgrade from a room with jacuzi to a one bedroom villa with private pool this was a very good decision. The staff was very nice and very kind. the resort ground are very well maintain the food was nice in all 3 restaurants. The only issue was the beach on low tide its very muddy but pools are amazing.I would go again with no problem, also the manager is very helpfull.
