“Dirt Cheap, Basic rooms, Perfect for backpackers”
Reviewed 23 May 2014

Very cheap rooms at $5 a night (off peak season). I found it to be very typical of what to expect in Vietnam for budget places. No Air con but Da Lat is very cool compared to the rest of the country so I didn't need to have it anyway.

This place located in Truong Cong Dinh street, with many office tours such as Bicycle tour, Bike tour, City tour, etc. I am impressed by the receptionist. They helped us to find out the motorbike for rent with reasonable price. All of furniture here are good. We were here 2 days, for $6-7 a night.

Room is $ 8 for one person. Room is 10 if sharing. Very clean. Lovely white sheets. Veranda overlooking city. Run by the owners and they keep the place spotless. I rented a bike here to. It ran fine but clankity, with high pitch squeal when over 35km per hour. And bikes are not 24 hours in Dalat. Don't forget to book canyoning abseiling with highland adventure up the road. A Highlight of my travels.

The staff is helpful, the restaurant is awesome and affordable. They don't just try and book you a tour, she gave us lots of info for the local buses. Clean rooms. Overall it is the $10 a night. Great location!

This place is in a great location, so we found it walking by, looking for a good valued room. It's a basic room with everything we need- wifi, hot shower, large size, windows, and a fan, for $11 a night. We were here during the Tet holiday, and told the front desk lady that we would stay for three days. We decided to extend our stay in Da Lat, and we told the woman, she said that the room rate would go up to $25 a night, because of Tet. I tried to ask why, and she said "no, no, no , no, no" and did not have a reason for the large price hike. So, we'll have to change hotels again to stay in town, even though Tet holiday will be over.

Nice area of town, surrounded by lots of great cafes. The rooms are clean and a good size. Working hot water. Comfortable bed. Cheap rate. Only problem I had was noisey neighbors but once they moved on my stay was good. Food down stairs is alright but ask for no msg. Great if you're a cat lover, there's a friendly in house cat who loves a cuddle.

The owner is very nice and smiley.. unfortunately the same could not be said for the remainder of the staff who were abrupt and spoke to us as if we were a burden.

Room was clean, quiet and spacious.

TV in the room but did not check to see if it worked.

Their 1 day tour of all the sights was worth the money but was a little rushed with so many things to do and see but they are all on the same road.

There are so many hotels in this town, if you are going out of season, I would suggest you check so others out first.

Just over the hill from the market and 15-20 minute walk from the Sinh Tourist open bus office.

Room Tip: There are rooms at the back which are quieter.
