that's such a quite and wonderful place to stay on holidays, i wish i could even live in here. The room we stayed was so clean, delicious breakfast was served at the garden outside, and there is a REAL AMAZING TRAIN CAFE next to the villa, its such a great plave not only enjoying a cup of hot coffee or tea but also a place where you find yourself with old music player and some records. Its so green and clean. This is a place that makes your holidays enjoyable stays. My lady really wants to come back here to stay for our honey moon, and for sure we will come back again and again. Thanks for the greatest service EVER.

This place was perfect. It is really close to all of the places I love in Dalat. In fact, it's close to all the main spots, but it feels like a get away. You turn a corner, drive down the road a bit, and you are there, and you feel like nobody could ever find you. Great food in the train cafe. The lady that runs the place knows good hiking trails, and the villas are nicer than any apartment you could ever rent in Japan (too obvious?). They are equipt with a little kitchen you can cook in, and a living room to watch TV in. Hopefully, though, you wont be needing these because, like I said, the owner and staff know alot about the city and they want you to have the best time outside of the premises as possible. Taking a day off within the premises, however, was some of the best relaxing I have done in a while.

I can't say enough good things about this place. The grounds are wonderful and the former train master's house sits on a hill with a great view of the neighborhood and the hills beyond. The restaurant is a renovated train car that has been brought by crane from the tracks across the street and down the hill. I don't know how they did it. The rooms are large with a living room, bedroom, hallway and bath opening into both the back garden with lover's swing and a picnic table and the front driveway. The breakfast was good and lunch was even better. It's not right downtown, but that doesn't matter, as it is peaceful and serene.

Stayed there for about 5 days, was warm welcomed by the owners. Service there was of high quality. Most of all, love the view, what I could ask for more in life when having a lovely breakfast every morning with such an amazing view. Will surely revisit again.

Upon arrival i was taken aback by the gorgeous setting and quaint buildings set up on a hill overlooking a picturesque little valley. Most striking was the beautifully restored train carriage restaurant positioned with regal pride up on the hill.
I was immediately greeted with a warm smile from the staff and taken to my room. Although I had seen photos I was not expecting such a quaint and unique feeling space. The room made me feel like I was in the 1930s. Old characterful furniture and fabrics gave me a real sense of my grandma's homely comfort.
I sat in the train carriage to soak up more of the unique character of this hotel. When i walked in I was immediately greeted by warm grins of understanding from other wide eyed customers. This is a truly friendly and comfortable feeling place!
The staff were pleasant and attentive. Food drink well priced, and hospitality as warm as coming home after a year away.

Room Tip: Bottom floor on right side of main building was my room and one of the larger rooms i believe.

I have stayed at the Train Villa several times and it is truly my favourite place to stay in Dalat. The suite (to call it a room would be wrong) I have stayed in boasts separate sleeping area, living room, kitchenette and bathroom. It is really more of an apartment (and larger than my apartment when I was in college) with all the convenience of a hotel (room service, Train Villa Cafe onsite, helpful staff etc.). Situated on quiet expansive grounds it is an ideal place to stay for a chill solo trip, romantic getaway or a family vacation. If you do bring the kids there is plenty of room for them to enjoy the fresh mountain air while playing. Highly highly recommend it!

The Dalat Train Villa is close to the original Dalat train station, which has some sights to see. It's a bit of a walk to the center city, but easily reached via motorbike or taxi. Rooms are well appointed, with kitchenette, and refrigerator. The views from the garden were very nice. The train car cafe was a nice, eclectic change from many places we have stayed in Vietnam. Breakfast was adequate, but would have preferred a bit more Vietnamese food on menu. Staff was quite nice and acommodating. All in all, a very nice experience.
