Owner description: In its heyday, Dalat Station boasted three arrivals and departures daily. The French built the railway station itself, while the zigzagging tracks were planned and implemented by the Swedish, experts in tricky terrain.

“10 mins max”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 19 October 2013 via mobile

Seems as if the station is part wedding photographers' standard locations. We saw a couple during our short time there.

The station itself is not particularly interesting, though you might feel differently if you are into trains.

Worth a look if you are in close proximity to the station, if not then don't bother.

“A bit of history”

Good to rattle through the countryside to see how the country uses every inch of soil to grow hot house crops. Also good way to get to Linh Phuoc Pagada

“very interesting train trip”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 October 2013

Practically nothing to add, station - not interesting, train - perfect, pagoda - perfect. We didn't go with the group and visited another pagoda on the left hill first. That's how we saw two pagodas instead of one, but be careful - train waits only for 45 minutes, so we had to run back.

“Nice”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 9 October 2013

It is a small place, nice to see if you are already here, but not a must-see. There are brides and grooms coming to take photos here and they are far more interesting to look at than the site by itself
