“Best breakfast in vietnam”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 May 2012

Dreams is all round brilliant. The rooms are nice, the showers are incredible (spouts that fire at you from the front as well as the top), the hot tub between 4 and 7 was very welcome and a great way to meet some other people from the hotel, and the breakfast... the breakfast!!! everything was perfect, I had a bacon and avocado sandwich every morning, and they will cook the eggs however you like even poached, they have such rarities as marmite and square bread. I can't imagine a guesthouse-style hotel being any better than this.

Make sure you get the number 5 bus from outside the hotel and visit Lang Biang mountain. The lower peak accessible by jeep has a nice view and quite cool little barbeque place, but the second, higher peak, is incredible. About an hour of hiking from the road up through almost jungle - feel like an explorer, very steep steps (if it looks like rain TURN BACK) and a stupendous view at the top in every direction.
Also visit the crazy house!

Dreams is an absolutely brilliant hotel. Not only is the owner a truly lovely and caring lady, but the rooms are excellent and the morning buffet is just another level compared to any other hotel in Vietnam (we know as we stayed in about 30 different hostels/hotels just in Vietnam). Not only that but there is a Jacuzzi on the top floor. After travelling a lot and experiencing very varied hostels, this felt like paradise. O yeah the shower has 6 super-powered jets which massage you whilst in the shower - ooo yeah. So yes if you like to travel and have worn your body down and are physically and mentally exhausted, then this is the place to go. If you haven’t, then this is still the place to go. A must stay!!!

Dreams Hotel is without doubt the best hotel on our journey so far! The rooms, service, breakfast. Everything was amazing. The owner lady fixed a daytrip for us and we got a fantastic guide named Thui. We saw everything that you should see in the area around Dalat. In the end of the day we didnt have any questions left. Thui had told us everything we wanted to know. I mean everything. Such an amazing guide.

The jaccuzzi on the roftop was the perfect end of the relaxing days that we spent in Dalat. And the breakfast is probably the best I will see in Asia. So fresh with everything that you need.

Im so happy that we chose Dreams Hotel for our stay in Dalat. Everyone should do the same.

One word: JACUZZI.

Stayed in Dreams 2 a bit further down the road away from the cafe/restaurants as you go up the hill. Staff were very helpful, spoke good English, no problem to open the doors when you got in late. Welcome to use the roof-top jacuzzi at Dreams 1 - DEFINITELY do this!! Only open from 4pm-7pm though. Mrs Dung is amaze.com, such a nice lady and her hubby is cool too. The breakfast is fab, people who say its average should appreciate they're in a third world country and you're not paying for luxury. Fruit, bottomless coffee, eggs, bread, bacon if you want it, yoghurts. My one gripe is that the hot water ran out very quickly :( This is probably due to the super duper spray system they have going on...

We were lucky to get into this popular hotel in the heart of Dalat in April 2012. Spotless rooms with great 3-way showers (and blow dryer) and great beds. Not sure if it was the fresh, higher, crisper air but we slept like babies. The owner is most hospitable and friendly offering great travel advice and will book buses and travel to the countryside. We were delighted to use her car service for a day with a driver who was very knowledgeable and spoke good English. The breakfast served in the basement is legendary with a variety of foods to satisfy everyone. The hot tub on the roof is a nice touch not normally found in SE Asia. Ignore the webpage for this place as the owner states she does not have one and someone is fraudulently taking bookings and cash upfront. Try the restaurant across the street for excellent local fare. Highly recommended hostelry. We would stay there again.

Room Tip: You do not need air conditioning in April.

They know that they are in all travel guides and they use it. The price is between 20-30$. Double bed room is 30 $, without breakfast 20$. You can find near by good and much much cheaper hotel.

Good location, very reasonable price, extremely kind and helpful staff, good breakfast, and a roof top hot tub. It's not a five star hotel, but I gave it 5 out of 5 because it is amazing for the price and I would highly recomend staying there.
