stayed in a quad room (2 double beds). the boss is a very patient and friendly man. we wanted to borrow some of his bicycles to explore the town. his young staff struggled to take out 4 bikes for us, and although in the end we did not even use any (the bikes were too big for us), he did not show any displeasure. he also helped us book a patient and kind cab driver for a full day tour (9-6 pm) to 2 waterfalls, cao dai temple, crazy house.

there is no lift. only way up to the rooms is by stairs. the room was clean, big and spacious. comes with a tv, mini bar fridge and air con. towels are provided but other toiletries (shampoo, soap, toothbrush etc) were not. bathroom is a little small, but water pressure is good.

breakfast is in their kitchen, makes you kinda feel like you're living in someone's home. the food is yummy, homemade goodness. baguettes, jam, ham, sausages, cheese, veg, eggs, juice, and a lot of fresh fruit.

the only gripe i hv is the location, which is a little bit far from the 'town centre' (10-15min walk). but there are a few convenience stores along the way where u can buy bottled water

Although a little out of the way it is still easy to get around either with a bicycle or motor bike at $6 per day a bargain. I think this is the best way to explore Vietnam. The staff are very friendly and when they found out it was my birthday they went out and purchased the most tasteful little cake one could imagine. The breakfast is quite sufficient with the best fruit I have tasted for ages.
Plenty of baguettes and fillings. The internet is fast and there are a lot of PC's available if you do not carry your own. For the price it is a bargain. Quiet, comfortable, clean and roomy. We will be back in November

Room Tip: unsure but our first floor was great for older couples

We recently spent two nights at Thien An and enjoyed our stay. The room was good, we got a free upgrade as the hotel was quiet, breakfast was amazing and included (and on our second day the owner started breakfast early for us so we could eat before catching our early bus), wifi was good and the place was very clean. Only downside is the distance from the centre of town. We walked to town a few times, but it is a little further than ideal. Bikes are provided free if you want to use them, and the price and standard of the hotel makes up for the distance.

Mr. Le is very helpful and willing to answer your questions. There is very detail map from hotel to arrange your trip in Da Lat. The whole family is very nice. The breakfast is delicious, and there are many frest fruits. That's my favourate. I'll stay there again once I have chance to go to Da Lat again.

We stayed at Thien An for the second time. Considering the very reasonable price you cannot ask for more: You'll get a nice clean room with a fine bathroom and the breakfast is a real highlight. The owner and his family simply make this place to your home away from home.
