This is my second time staying in Thien An Hotel and it never failed to impress me and my friends. Big rooms, comfortable beds, great breakfast, helpful reception.

- Free Parking
We were referred by Dreams to Thien An Hotel, as both Dreams 1 & Dreams 2 were full when we arrived in Dalat.
The friendly and helpful owner came to fetch us from Dreams to his Thien An Hotel.
Thien An Hotel is not that far from town centre, even it does not seems to be marked within Lonely Planet's city map.
The room is very clean, comfortable and with good hot shower (the best we had in our Vietnam's trip). There are free bicycles and free Internet (a few computers in the huge common area). We were impressed by the great breakfast, we never have so much varieties of fruits for breakfast even at home.
Thien An is a friendly family run hotel that offers really good value for money and a great breakfast. The rooms are well equipped with a comfortable bed and a modern shower and toilet en-suite. If you choose a room at the back they are quiet with views over a temple. We paid $20 a night for a double room. The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful. I would recommend Thien An to anyone passing through Dalat.
I stayed at the Thien An Hotel after arriving in Dalat in the evening and the Dreams was full. I was referred there, but knew the reviews were good and I was not let down. It was great, a nice clean room, good advice on tours and the area without being pushy at all, quiet, great breakfast. I would not hesitate staying their again. Its a short stroll from the heart of the city however it is a nice walk in and very safe. Do yourself a favour and stay, its a refreshing change from many of the other chaotic hotels in Vietnam in that price range. the best hotel I stayed in my 2 weeks in Vietnam
We (1 couple, 2 friends) spent four nights in Thien An Hotel during October 2010. The rooms were immaculate, the breakfast fantastic and the owner and his family welcoming, yet not intrusive.
A lovely place to stay and worth the extra couple of minutes walk away from the 'backpacker' area of town.
When we first arrived in Dalat, we tried to check into the Dreams Hotel, but it was full, so the lady there sent us up to the Thien An. We were very impressed with the Thien An, as the rooms looked new, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were delicious, and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The town of Dalat itself was the friendliest of all the places we had been in Viet Nam. We arranged a tour of the area through the hotel, and had a very enjoyable day with the guide Van. We would also recommend the Chocolate Cafe in town for cappuccino or dinner.
