Great hotel, comfort, location near to the city centre, easy to find food and transportation to old quarter area, and valuable price..
The minus part is the hotel is not big enough, have no swimming pool, but i like the gym room,.

Stayed at this hotel in mid July. Arrange for hotel pick up at airport and was duly transfer into a car. There is no signage of the hotel name on the vehicle. The journey from airport to hotel was taxing at it took 1.5 hours. For whatever reasons, the driver was travelling at average 35-40 km/h. There were many other vehicle over taking the hotel transport.

Check-in was simple and fast. Room is clean but a bit small. There is no bath tub. Breakfast was really horrible with very limited selection.

Location was okay. Manage to go to Quan An Ngon for dinner, which is about 5-8 minutes’ walk away. For some drinks, there is Seventeen Cowboys is about 10 minutes walk away as well. There is a very good Philipino band singing there.

Room is clean. Facilities is ok. Bed is comfort. Services (reception, restaurant, house keeping) are good. Staff are friendly. Elevators are quite slow. Some TV channels are not clear. Overall are very good.

Room Tip: Rooms on front side have better view.

A great hotel, from a reputable chain. Initially we were apprehensive about the location, but it is an easy walk to the old town. It met all our expectations. They changed the date of one night of our booking without hesitation or fees when our Ha Long Bay tour was changed, even though when we initially made (and paid) the booking there was a no cancelation policy. The staff were very helpful, and although we were given a smoking room, without being asked our preference, when we complained, they immediately gave us new non smoking room, upgrading us with a bigger bed and bath in the process.

As a tip - We enjoyed the "I love beer" restaurant just up the road - the food was delicious!

This review is a bit late...we stayed at this hotel in January, 2013. It is a wonderful hotel with a great location for people who are visiting Hanoi as tourists and enjoy walking. The hotel and rooms are very clean, the staff helpful, and the morning breakfast buffet is very nice. We stayed in two different rooms while here because our trip was broken up by an overnight visit to Halong Bay. Both rooms were excellent. What we liked most was we could walk from the hotel to so many tourist sites such as the Temple of Literature, "Hanoi Hilton", the Old Town, Hoan Kiem Lake. Could even have walked to Ho Chi Minh's house and mausoleum but those sites were included in a tour we took. And if you want a special dinner, just walk about a block to the La Badiane Restaurant on Nam Ngu Street...we loved it. Most fun is to walk around Hoam Kiem Lake either during the day or night. We were lucky to be there when they were getting ready to celebrate the New Year and the lake was decorated with lights, plants, etc.

Well placed at the centre of Hanoi. Quiet neighbourhood.

Very good staff: I drop a teacup and a saucer while spinning my body to get out of my seat, the staff showed no sign of nervosity: I got a smile while I expected to be scolded.

The room is somehow small but nothing annoying except that the view is worthless: my room looks on the glassroof of the restaurant below...and the wall of adjacent buildings.

didn't expect less from a reputed 4 stars hotel.

Room Tip: room looking over the Ly Thuong Kiet Street.
