The staff were exceptional, The food was great and the prices were sensational. All the staff were very helpfull, after I left my camera in a taxi from the street they eventually traced the driver and got him to return it.All the relevant staff had a good understanding of English .I travelled over on crutches and they all showed a genuine concern about my leg every day .Highly recomended.

From the moment the friendly door man opened the door we emerged into a tranquil and peaceful home away from home. This hotel had it all... Great location in the Old Quarter, helpful friendly staff, beautiful new fittings as the hotel is only one year young and a great buffet breakfast.

We walked the city from this great central spot, using the handy pocket sized map the staff gave us. Hanoi traffic is crazy so this little oasis away from the mayhem waiting outside was the perfect hotel to end our great stay in Vietnam. Luxury appointments throughout make this worthy of five stars.

Modern, clean and great value! Can't recommend it highly enough.

My family and I stayed at this hotel while we were in Hanoi. It is well located-close to the market area and on a great street for shopping. Furthermore, the hotel is well worth the value, it has a modern aesthetic, and the rooms are decorated with a modern sensibility and efficient. I think bottom line this hotel is great value and well worth it.

We stayed one night at the silk path hotel. The location was smack bang in the hustle and bustle of the old quarter of Hanoi. A modern and slick lobby with attentive desk and concierge staff greeted us as we stepped out of the sea of motor bikes and cars.

Restaurant and bar areas were well designed and made use of glass walls, art and quality fixtures.

The room was well designed, well soundproofed and provided a lovely birds eye view of the hustle and bustle below. The bathroom was tiled with a slick palette and plumbed with the latest Villeroy and Boch sanitary ware. The only niggle was a hand shower in the bath with no wall fixture to take a standing shower under.

Breakfast was served by efficient and attentive staff in a slick little restaurant on the second floor. The baguette was fresh and the food tasty with a good espresso.

Walking distance to the old quarter lake, market and sofitel metropole made it a good base.

After only one night we were impressed. We would have been happy to stay another night.

The staff were unbelievably friendly, courteous, ready to help with anything. Got even better when we attempted to speak some Vietnamese to them. Rooms are perfect. Location great. Food fantastic. Would highly recommend a stay here.
We stayed for Christmas and the staff made it fun although we don't really celebrate it ourselves. While we were there the hotel was awarded 4 star status. This was achieved in a little under a year of opening - I can see why.

Located in the Hoan Kiem district close to the heart of old Hanoi, a modern stylish hotel with restaurant and small top floor spa with jacuzzi. Our executive room on the second floor was spacious with excellent WiFi access. Well trained professional staff spoke excellent English and provided prompt and friendly service. Hotel restaurant dinner was good, and buffet breakfast very good. Several excellent tourist-friendly restaurants were within easy walking distance of the hotel. Major downtown historic neighborhoods were within a 15 minute walking distance or short, inexpensive taxi ride.

We staid for two nights at the Silk Path hotel in downtown Hanoi. Excellent location to reach many of the places of interest on foot. 10 minutes walk to Hoang Khiem lake, 10 minutes to the Fine Arts museum. Pretty good breakfast buffet, friendly staff and good rooms. We staid in an executive room. The location is pretty noisy, but the rooms are soundproof.
