We spent in hotel just one night but we experienced great service from staff. They are amazing. No problems for everyhing... Money exchage in a minute (with good rate), taxi service from/to airport only 18$ in one way, boarding pass printing avaulable, map for Hanoi downtown delivered.
Hotel itself is in Old Quarter close to lake and shooping streets. A few restaurants around wit "european" food. Breakfast in hotel with wide choice and refillin everything. We were going to Ha Long Bay after stay in that hotel but we left some piece of our luggage free of charge in hotel for 3 days. Nice surprise in a room - was decorated for our honeymoon celebration with flowers, baloons and bottle of wine.
Room itself big with complimentary fruits and water but not so modern that's the reason of 4 no 5 points.

After reading the other reviews, I was ticked that I didn't get the balcony, after buying the better room, but we can't all win can we? Clean room. Clean hotel. Best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel (keep in mind I don't normally don't eat hotel breakfast's, but theirs was very good).

Great little oasis in a sea of Old City Hanoi! You won't be far from anything, but you won't be too close to anything either. Get ready to walk. You may get lost too so just remember to take one of their cards and remember their real name. Don't be like me and think it called the "Darling 2" and then ask for directions without your card/map. Other than that, the room was just fine. Spacious for an Asian hotel (or many actually). Minibar that was affordable. You are on the north end of the Old City and its walking streets. Close to the smelly lake (which is where the smelly backpackers hang around). And all of the great places that will get you (travel shops, trinket shops, etc).

Oh forgot. Very hard bed.

We arrived at the hotel 5am after reaching the Hanoi train station and they provided a spare room for us to sleep immediately. Very courteous and helpful staff. My girlfriend fell sick and wanted congee and the staff went out to buy for us immediately. Thank you!

There is not enough that can be said to praise this hotel. It's just fantastic. Value for money, location, staff service. Superb.

The staff are amazing and cannot do enough to please, and make your stay welcome. As an example, we had the manager approach us and ask how we thing the hotel can improve. It was difficult to put across any faults. The staff were asked to book a train journey for us from Hanoi to Danang. They offered to take us to the train station, collect the tickets that they booked for us, and then showed us to the train and carriage on the train. They even paid for the cab to the station. You tell me what hotel in the UK would ever do that for you.

Laundry was done in the time frame, the staff are very friendly and attentive, polite etc. It's actually embarrassing being English, knowing how much commitment they have to customer satisfaction.

The location is close to the main bars and restaurants, and if you manage to find your way around, go to CatBar and speak to Olivier the male French manager and his gorgeous wife Nuang. The most friendly people you will ever meet. Tell him his father and his uncle from England sent you, and he will chuckle. (In a nice way of course)

Value for money, customer service etc is outstanding. You will not be disappointed. For the money I pain, this is by far the best ever hotel I have stayed in. Enjoy

The service and location is great, especially if you are keen on exploring the old quarter. We stayed in the suite and it was very clean and comfortable. If we returned to hanoi, we'll definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Get the hotel to book your transfers to and from the airport, very convenient and reliable
