Stayed here for a business trip for more than 2 weeks in Hanoi. The deluxe room has a beautiful view and big Jacuzzi, also very clean and quite with a reasonably priced. Staffs's very helpful and friendly. Just take more than 5 mins to the central. Absolutely excellent choice.

I was on work assignment in Ha Noi and booked Silver Boutique Hotel as it was near the office. Absolutely excellent choice and I have stayed 2 months, my wife has visited for 18 days from abroad and loved it. The hotel is quite small and does not do evening meals, but is well situated has lots of nice restaurants around and does a pretty good breakfast. I took the advice of internet and did not book a small room and ordered delux. I was upgraded to suite because of my long stay, got laundry discount and really comfortable quiet room with good working area and plenty of space and airport pickup. Top of the list is the staff. Ms Thai is an excellent hostess and her team (security, breakfast cafe, reception, cleaning and laundry) are totally friendly and helpful and always cheerful. My wife went home with a whole group of new Viet Nam friends among the hotel staff. These are nice people and make you welcome. It is not the Ritz but a very nice hotel good standard boutique, very economical and has been like at home for two months. Will definitely stay again if back in Ha Noi.

Room Tip: Don't get a small room. Ask for upstairs at the back for a quiet room. Tenth floor...

I stayed at this hotel on a very regular basis whilst on business trips to Hanoi. It is very central and reasonably priced. The place is clean and well run - it is not luxury but is pleasant enough to stay in. Room service food is ok - play it safe by ordering pho (noodle soup) - you get a fairly good hearty nondescript stew unless you as a foreigner specificaly ask for it Vietnamese style.

Room Tip: Rooms at the front are larger

Stayed here multiple times for as well business as leisure occasions.

The rooms are nice and clean, the superiors are small and have no window so pay a bit more for the deluxe and suits - they are worth it and certainly provide a much better experience.

Reception staff is very friendly, has a high English proficiency and will go to great extend to attend to needs and is fairly flexible with late check-out.
Only attended breakfast once which I found a bit too simplistic and that did not impress me.

Room Tip: Avoid the superiors

This is a small hotel located in the French Quarter. It's about 5min walk from the Opera House, and 15 - 20min to the Old town.
We stayed here for 4 nights altogether, and found the room to be big and spacious, and very tidy. The rooms we stayed had balcony to the outside, a nice addition to standard hotel rooms where you're enclosed behind a glass window.
We found the location to be fairly convenient, lots of nice cafes and restaurants within 5min walking distance.
The staff were all really friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was basic, but I would save it to eat a traditional Pho Bo on the street instead.
The only negative is there was something wrong with the hot water when we stayed, the water was lukewarm, and went cold after 5min, hopefully that's been fixed now.

Overall, the stay was pleasant, we had a room facing the back street for the first 3 nights, then a room facing the main street when we came back for one last night. I would suggest try getting the front facing rooms, as currently there is a building being constructed next door, and may be too much for those who are noise sensitive. Both sides had a nice outlook tothe city if you are high up.

Although the location is not central to the main hustle of Hanoi, it is not a long walk to anywhere central. The rooms are excellent for the price, light, modern and well equipped. The bathroom is a wet-room with shower and large jacuzzi tub.
Breakfast is simple, mostly local fare but with option of continental, bacon and eggs. Staff are friendly and efficient.

Room Tip: There are rooms with and without windows. Ask for an upgrade if possible to windows
