Thuy made us feel very welcome during our short stay in Hanoi. Our room was huge, with a private bathroom, and the house was away from the hustle and bustle of the main street so we were guaranteed a sound night's sleep. (Very important after a busy day in the city!)
We found it very simple to hop in a taxi to the old town (expect to pay about 100,000VND) or walk if you've got time on your hands and you want to walk through the gardens. We also visited the Hanoi Brewery which is just a few minutes from the house.
Each day Thuy would ensure we had maps, ideas and plans for what to do with our day. I would highly recommend staying at ChezLinhLinh House, especially if you're on a budget as it is great value.
