Was a good hotel, big room, good bed, quiet, ac, ok wifi and friendly, English speaking staff.
Bathroom was old and in need of a make over. Was clean though. Breakfast was good, you can choose from the menu and there is a little buffet.
Close to the Cathedral and many small restaurants. Had a pleasant stay and will go back again.
Can recommend it. The name has changed in to Aquarius hotel.

The staff was Very service-minded, Nice and helpful. They helped is with everything and gave us many good Advise that we used on our trip trough Vietnam. I could really recommend this cozy and nice Hotel. The location was good and central. you could go everywhere. The hotel helped us to rent a local guide who showed us streets that we never would have found without him. otherwise will i say that The room was Nice and clean, The breakfast was good and that we had a lovely stay in this Hotel in Hanoi.

This hotel is perfectly positioned Access all of Hanoi atratcions from here. Rooms are a little tired but are cleaned daily, Own bathroom, cable tv fridge and safe and free wifi. An excellent choice to stay in Hanoi on a budget.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back dont have a view but are quiet

For 30 USD, it is just the perfect place to stay. Impeccable rooms, very gentle and caring staff.
The breakfast could be improved, but overall wonderful stay. To top it off, the location is perfect at the heart of the old town. Bravo !

Room Tip: Get a room in the lower part of the hotel, otherwise I heard there may be some problems with the wi-fi. Info not confirmed though, just heard it once.

This is my first time writing a review for this hotel after staying there for almost a year on a monthly 4 nights basis. Location was perfect away from the maddening crowd of Hanoi Old Quarter yet within walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and many eateries and restaurants. This hotel is only about 5-7 minutes walk to the minibus station where you can take the minibus to Hanoi Airport at US$2.00 (Vnd40,000) per head, it cost the same from the airport to the minibus station which is located at Quang Trung Street. The hotel staff, from the bellboy to the receptionists, manager to the boss, they are extremely cheery, friendly and helpful. Definitely value for money.

Room Tip: If you want quieter room, choose a room at the back of the hotel. If you want more daylight, than the front will be better.
