“Clean and Excelent Hotel”

I and my girl friend just come back from hanoi , we stay 4 night in this Hotel . This hotel is very clean and quite new. The location is excellent , we go to old quarter , night market and ho kian lake with only 5 minute walking distance.

The staff here is very helpful and they give a free map to us to avoid we lost. Other than that , they also provide the service exchange money.

Every morning the breakfast is included , you also can order the food from the menu and guess what? it is free also .

This Hotel accomodation fee is so cheap but provide at least 4 star service, highly recommend

The location was excellent close attractions as : Sword Lake, Water Puppet Theatre, Opera in Hanoi we could walk there in some minutes. From hotel we were easy to visit other favorite places famous Temple of Literature, One Pillar Pagoda, Fine Arts Museum, mausoleum Ho Chi Minh ... . The hotel looked nice but it was not a new hotel. Our room was clean, bright and airy. There was a window, from the room we could see the sights of Hanoi's Old Quarter. The staff of hotel was not only friendly but they were very helpful. This hotel was really wonderful. It was a warm and cosy place to return to each afternoon after exploring the beauty of Hanoi city. We will definitely be staying there again.

We stayed here for four nights all up. The value for money was excellent. The staff were fantastic and went out off their way to arrange tours and make sure our stay was as good as possible. On getting back to Hanoi from Sapa at 5 in the morning we woke the night manager who was incredibly pleasant an helpful even at that time. We were also running late for a tour of the city so we missed breakfast - the manager insisted on preparing some food to take with us. I cannot speak highly enough about the service we received at this mid range hotel.

We stayed at Thaison Grand for one night before going on the grand lotus junk around halong bay (well worth it) and we were lucky enough to be upgraded. the room we were upgraded to was exceptional. 2 double beds, big windows, lots of space, wide screen tv, mini bar and snacks available and a decent bathroom.

The staff are very lovely, good English and are willing to help. Whilst we were waiting for our room to be prepared we were given home made creme brule and were able to help ourself to tea and coffee. The manager told us about different tours that they organise but in no way pressured us. We decided to go with them for halong bay but not for Sapa and there were no hard feelings (apparently this can be a problem in Hanoi)

The breakfast buffet was average. The food was nice but most of it was room temperature including the tea and coffee. You can order hot pho (noodle soup) and other things fresh if you want. There is a selection of fruit and creme brule too.

After Sapa we decided to stay at the Thaison again. This time we weren't upgraded (which is fine of course) but we were given a room without windows which meant we slept in to ridiculous times each morning.

Thaison Hotel overall is great and good value for money, just make sure you get a room with windows if you are prone to sleeping in or if you prefer natural light.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with windows

The hotel was very efficient in answering all our inquiries. The staff provided very good information and tips on what to do in hanoi, and also helped us book a tour to Halong Bay which was a great experience. The location of the hotel is excellent as you can walk around the old quarter easily. Rooms were very clean and new too.

The Thaison Hotel 2 ........Its a great place to stay and close to everything . The staff are super friendly and helpful . We could not fault this hotel , the rooms clean and tidy with a good bathroom with a great shower . The Managers were both really helpful and told us every thing we needed to know to get about the city . It was like we were staying at a family hotel everyone was so nice. Most things you want are closebye , shops ,restaurants, hoi beer stands and even a supermarket where you can buy things that you need but are hard to find in the old part of the city. We will stay there again when we return next year . There is a safe in your room for valuables and the staff are very trustworthy .The room are quiet with very little traffic noise . Henry , the day manager, was particularly helpful and sensitive to the needs of older travellers .
