Set right in the heart of Hanoi, this is a lovely hotsl with the kindest staff we have met. We have had 9 weeks in Europe, and met lots of kindness, but this has been solid gold.
We arrived weary from Paris at 8am, and they did some magic so we could have our balcony room well before time. We just crashed and slept in large and very comfortable beds.
the lift was unlike any in France, being large and - even better - silent.
I would have liked a comfortable reading chair instead of the all-too-Chinese hard wooden seats, and a bathroom door thar opened outwards rather than squashing us because it opened in. But these are small items in an otherwise very restful stay.More
