I stayed here for a week with a friend and we were very comfortable the whole time. Tim and the gang are incredibly friendly and helpful. Bikes were found for us at a moments notice. The air conditioning was most welcome after a day out in 40 degrees. You stay inside the Old Quarter and there are many highly rated and cheap restaurants within walking distance. There is also bottomless coffee, tea and condensed milk! Basically it is a great hotel and I cannot recommend it more highly.

Of the many fine hotels in Vietnam we would rate the Tu Linh Palace at the top of the list! The service, warm and friendly, was outstanding at all times. Though a small hotel, rooms, ensuites and lobby were always clean and modern in style. We cannot give enough praise to Mr Tim and Ms Bac whom helped in so many ways and their staff were the same. The location in the old quarter was just what we were after and a short walk to the markets and Bia hoi! We thank them very much and look forward to visiting again! David and Anna

I stayed at this hotel when I visited Hanoi. It was a good choice. The staff was really friendly and helpful. They (Tim, Binh and Bac ... not sure if I spelled their names correctly) were really kind and did their best to make us happy. They always offer us to sit down in the restaurant for drinks or fruits every time we came back to the hotel after taking a walk around the city. They also let us leave our luggage at the hotel when we leave for Sapa and they even let us take a shower before we leave for Sapa. They arranged our tour and they even helped us move to another hotel when we arrived from Sapa early in the morning and had to check in early. The hotel that we stayed in after we returned from Sapa is not bad either.

The hotel is in a good location. Tim recommended us a few places to eat and we really liked the food and restaurants that he recommended. We were really happy with the staff in that hotel. Breakfast was basic but you can eat as much as you want. Thanks for the good service guys and will definitely stay in this hotel when I come back to Hanoi in the future.

We stayed here two nights on arrival in Hanoi from the UK. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and were very friendly. The place is spotlessly clean and the breakfasts are great. Tea, coffee and water always available. Excellent value for money. Great location in the old town. Highly recommend this hotel.

Great location of the hotel in the old quarter, staff really fantastic, we thought that their interest towards the clients were just to sell excursions from the hotel, instead TIM and BAC are just like that with everyone. We were on tour for 5 days, they let us leave our luggage at the hotel, and on our return without paying us have offered us a room for the shower and they made us do even breakfast.
