In general in Vietnam we found the customer service to be lacking but NOT at the Hanoi Moment 2! The service we got here was absolutely impeccable! All the staff were friendly, helpful and were always willing to go the extra mile particularly those at reception.

The hotel itself is in a brilliant location, the rooms were comfortable and had a boutique feel about them. The food we ordered from room service was really nice especially the lemon tart :) we did not try breakfast as we were up too early during our stay. All of this and priced very reasonably! Very happy indeed!

Lovely stay at this hotel for a week. Stayed Junior Suite and Executive suite. Although executive suite was more spacious, I prefered the Junior suite with its balcony and view. Staff were brilliant. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Ate several meals in the hotel's restaurant and was delighted with the meals the chef prepared. I have been to Vietnam on many occasions and have eaten many Vietnamese dishes and I would thoroughly recommend the banana blossom salad and the banh xeo. Would definately recommend others to stay here. One small fault would be that the wooden slats in the bathroom were a little musty smelling due to lack of being able to dry out completely, this compounded with the humid weather in Hanoi at this time of the year, it cannot be avoided. I do see that some others have complained about this but for me it was a minor flaw in what is one of the best hotels I have stayed in around the Old Quarter of Hanoi.

We stayed 4 nights here and is honestly the best place I stayed in Vietnam across the 2 and a half weeks I was there.

What really makes this place special is the staff. The service was amazing, everytime we arrived back to the hotel we were greeted like a member of the family. They are all so nice! Also helped us book an overnight trip to halong bay and stored our luggage. Arranged for our laundry to be done on a same day service and generally just excellent.

The location was superb, especially for the friday evening night markets.

I didn't have any problem with the room. Complimentary fruit every day was great. Not a bad word to say!

Nothing was too much to ask as this hotel. The staff were very friendly and very accommodating. We only booked for 3 days, however, decided to stay for 2 extra nights and they gave us a free upgrade.

The rooms look just like the pictures.

We recommend booking through the hotels activity service. There are plenty of dodgy companies in Hanoi so we thought the hotel was the safest way to go for this.

Location is fantastic. Right in the middle of old quarter.

I really have a hard time rating this hotel. The staff was amazing -- nothing was too small or too large for them to happily assist us with. The food was also very good, as well as the location. The rooms, however, were weird. We stayed first in a family room that had a bizarre bathroom with glass walls set in the middle of the room. It was dark, musty and had mold on the walls. It was also loud. Our last night we moved to the penthouse, which was better but still needs quite a bit of renovation. So I would give 5 stars to the service and three stars at best for the rooms. I probably wouldn't stay again unless they remodel.

I agree with the majority of other reviews that the service is very good. The location, too, is excellent if you are in Hanoi for a few nights. We had the Penthouse suite - the room on the 4th floor was very good, as was the bathroom and balcony, and although the bedroom on the 5th floor (the upper penthouse room) was fine, the bathroom was not and we didn't use it at all. As there were only three of us this wasn't a problem - but it really does need redoing completely, there was thick strips of black mould around the bath and it is very grubby. The staff are extremely helpful and being able to store your luggage if you do the trip to Halong Bay is very convenient. When we returned to collect our luggage we needed assistance in booking a flight to Da Nang and a hotel in Hoi An - again, the staff could not be more helpful and we are grateful to them for their help. Overall, great service and location, a very good 3 star hotel.

Room Tip: The Penthouse is on the 4th and 5th floors - the traffic noise certainly did not keep us awake.

Stayed for 3 nights. All the staff were astoundingly helpful and lovely from organising trips to greeting us each time we returned. The breakfast were lovely. The rooms were ok but the first room smelt of mould and we had to change to another room ( without any hesitation from staff) but although our second bedroom didnt smell the bathroom really had an awful and overpowering stagnant smell constantly ( I can only describe it a mouldy/ cabbage!) and was damp. This really made the difference for me giving 4 not 5 stars and I think must cause guests to complain.
