Thanks to Hoa, our trip to Sapa and Halong Bay was awesome. Footprints was very organized. They were able keep us on schedule even though the train ride was delayed by 3 hours to Sapa from Hanoi. We were able to see and do everything that we planned and more. The tour was extremely affordable and included more than we expected. We went trekking to our Rustic Homestay. The family was welcoming. They had installed a toilet which was nice and we even had electrical outlets to charge up our nook, cameras and phone. Each person who met us to take us on our journey was very professional. They had hotels set up for us to wash up along the way to our trek. Cat Cat Village was nice but a bit touristy (NorthFace knock-offs galore). On the way back our guide added a few more hikes to our trip. We stopped by 3 other villages (Lai Chau -Golden Stream Waterfall, Lao Chai, and Ta Pin). After all the hiking we took a train back to Hanoi and proceded to Halong Bay and stayed in the luxury boat called Indochina Junk. meals were fine-dining style and very nice. The only down part of the tour is that you have to sit through a pearl exhibit.
