A large city business hotel but souless. Nice big and clean bedrooms and main reception areas are fine but the place is functional and that's about it. Drinks and food very expensive and the Happy Hour on the 18th floor Skybar is a joke. Buffet breakfast which was included in our room rate was good. A place to stopover for a night but nothing more - unless you're on business.

When I was booking the room online it was listed as 3 star hotel and I had little expectation of the place. However I was surprised that this is a big hotel which looks more like a 4 star hotel if not 5. The rooms are well furnished and the staff were very friendly. The hotel is nearby a park and many good restaurants within walking distance. Lovely place to stay.

We stayed 02 nights and first impressions of the hotel are not so good: old building, room not so clean but especially the staff are impolite. We were there in honeymoon and at breakfast, my wife forgot to take the chopsticks and she asked a staff to bring her a couple of chopsticks, The girl replied: there are over there, go and take them. Not such a very nice reply I guess. And because we are Vietnamese, we can understand what the staff were talking about, they used very bad words in referring to clients, especially foreigners. Believe me, you can get better services in other 5 stars hotels in Hanoi.

My stay at this hotel dates back to April last year. The hotel was massive in size and really had a classy feel about it from an external viewpoint. Once we arrived inside we were welcomed by staff members and were assisted all the way through our room (even luggage service), this created a really nice atmosphere within the hotel. Inside the hotel was a nice and luxurious setting, with a ,mixture of modern and contemporary designs. During our stay we assisted to a reception organized by an embassy, the reception room was massive, classy and pleasant to be in. Food and Drinks service were prompt, everything seemed fresh and clean. However an unpleasant detail was the location of the hotel, being quite far from the center of city, we found the journey traveling forth and back quiet tiring. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a comfortable stay and a nice atmosphere. If you;re looking to be near the center of city or will need quick access to that area, i would perhaps recommend a hotel closer.

Quite a nice hotel in Hanoi. The foyer is impressive and looks good, but the rooms don't quite live up to the foyer. Staff are very nice in reception and foyer, but the breakfast staff need to cheer up! Breakfast was not brilliant - it was fine, but really just average.

The main reason why i choose this hotel is the location. It is near to most of my meetings. Is there a better one nearby? I don't know but Lotte nearby is coming up which should be quite nice.

The rooms are really old and reminds me of those old chinese hotels in china and Myanmar. Really old style.

The consolation is that they at least have a few decent restaurants to choose from. The japanese is not bad but the chinese is so so. Breakfast is also just average.
