“Unexpected tranquillity”
Reviewed 9 June 2014

Visiting Ho Chi Minh's residence was a surreal experience. The complex is so tranquil and gives you a good insight into Ho Chi Minh's life.

“interesting but certainly not wow”
Reviewed 8 June 2014

Vert very pleased that we organised private tour guides for every city we stayed in during our Vietnam holiday. It is the information they provide that enhances the attraction you are experiencing.

Whilst there is no wow factor with this attraction it is interesting to see and hear about the social and political environment of the time and of course the main actor Ho Chi MInh.

“Little to see but you get a feel for how he lived”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

First trick is to avoid this area on a Monday - it's all shut for cleaning! The gardens and lakes are lovely to walk round (expect to be joined by a throng of local children) and his cars and home interesting to see. Though it's difficult to get a true feel as to how Uncle Ho found the place because of the tourists and souvenir stalls!
