This a very well maintained historical place, I think Vietnam people love their leader very much. I do not about the real story, but I really admire.

A place you will just have to visit if you go to Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. Features how Ho Chi Minh lived when he was still alive, and the view is just lovely. Heat of walking is bearable thanks to the shady trees around.

You see how simply he lived. However it can be busy so go early which means a lot of queuing. His cars, bomb shelter etc., are all there to be seen. Warning. The museum closes at 1130.

The actual house on stilts where Ho Chi Min lived was in beautiful parkland. As we visited in low season there weren't massive crowds which made the visit all the more pleasant. However the price we paid was scorching heat!

there is really no need to visit this, though the masoleum leads right into it. just keep filing past and go clockwise the right back to the museum
