Lovely building where we attended an orchestra concert. Great experience. Worth the trip just to see the building.

“Nice architectural example”

Nice looking opera house. Wasn't able to go inside at the time, but definitely worth the time to view even if just from the outside.

“Good atmosphere and excellent performances”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 November 2013

Have been there 4-5 times and always had a very enjoyable time. The building brings you back to Pre-war Europe. They have excellent performance but need to know when. If you have a change please go and see

“Seize the day!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 11 November 2013

Look out for performances as a way to enjoy this amazing building.
We were handed a leaflet near the lake advertising ballet at the Opera House on a Friday night.
Unforgettable experience!
Dont forget to visit the grand room upstairs above the foyer.

“Beautiful building but quite small”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 November 2013

I went there several times, for just taking pictures in front of it and watching concert. The building is very beautiful and typical French architecture. I was lucky to catch Paris Symphony Orchestra when they came. So I can watch the concert and see the inside of the Opera House. The inside is not as magnificent as the outside, couple of things definitely needs refurbishment, namely the carpet. I feel that for a concert hall it's quite small and the chair is very uncomfortable. It squeak every time I move so I have to sit tight, literally during 1.5 hours concert. Once I sat near the door to the hall and I hear people, probably the staff walking around in the hall and it was quite disturbing. However, it's quite an enjoyable visit.
