Big run down old building, despite asking wouldn't let visitors in which made it a waste of time or a let down or both. Show the love ......

“Earth Hour Celebration”
Reviewed 20 May 2014

The opera house was part of our exploration of that area of Hanoi where it resembles more of the traditional European setting. The building is impressive as others around the area. We were not able to enter but that was fine with us. However we returned the next night for the Earth Hour Celebration with a few other thousands. The Opera House was the back drop to a large stage and was lit up for the celebration…the atmosphere , the noise, the entertainment and the house in the background made it for a very impressive setting.

“Can only see from outside”
Reviewed 10 May 2014 via mobile

It is a building in europe style. Since we can only see from outside and were not allowed to enter, it was not so interesting.

“where the past gone by and the artworks blossoms ”
Reviewed 9 May 2014 via mobile

Its so great to enter the historical théatre...its not just a theatre but also a witness of history.... where the August revolution broke out in 1945..., where the 1 st session of Pảrliarment was held, where the city alarm bell used to alarm the whole city whenever the US airforce Bombed in hanoi was put in the rooftop...it s a quintessentially proud of hanoians

“Nice building”
Reviewed 5 May 2014

Nice building - but not much to see unless you get inside. it's worth to see it if you decide to go for example to Museum of Revolution - it's just few meters away - otherwise not wort to go there to see the building from outside.
