Not very spectacular -- very few signs in English, and , sine we were there without a guide, much was left to imagination.

I think the temple of literature is on most people's itinerary. It is not only visually beautiful and a place of quiet amidst the hustle and bustle of Hanoi life, it is also a view into the past university life in Hanoi.

A very interesting place to visit - a must for Hanoi. Unfortunately, all the big tourist buses think the same and unload hordes of tourists there (I could communicate in german with almost everybody in there...).
Staff is not very friendly, pay in VDN or they charge you 4 times the real exchange rate in USD - instead of 20000VDN (=1USD) they asked for 4 USD. Don't even try to go to the toilet without giving a small "donation"..
These are the only downturns, you definitely have to see this place of wisdom (university) and nice architecture! Would go back there next time visiting Hanoi.

It is a peaceful garden despite tons of tourists. The garden is telling a story of Vietnam in the past and what it will become. Very nice place to visit.
