“Number one Must See in Hanoi”
Reviewed 21 June 2014

Temple of Literature is in the heart of the city just outside the old quarter. It is the oldest educational facility in Vietnam. A Hanoi local and good friend took us and gave us many ins and outs you would not get otherwise. She explained about their yearly visit at Tet for the family and one of her great great grandmothers is represented on one of the stella. Lots of local students there posing for graduation photos and that was very fun to see. Just a great place to visit and get relief from the busy city.

“Something of interest to see whilst in Hanoi”
Reviewed 18 June 2014

We did have a guide from Hanoi Kids that explained a lot about the history, I think it would be difficult to appreciate it otherwise. Worth a look if you have the time.
