Great hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi. Rooms very comfortable, breakfast excellent Position ideal for all local sites and the highlight is the Staff who were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was the slightest trouble and it was sad to have to say goodbye – highly recommended

What a lovely vacation that was! Thank you to Hoa Pham who had coordinated with me through email to arrange my booking. It was very easy talking to her and she was able to adjust the package based from our needs. She even gave us a free upgrade to 2 family rooms.

Upon arrival in Hanoi, a coach bus, actually a Ford E150 picked us up in the airport with Hai Anh Nguyen and dropped us off the Spring Flower Hotel in Old Quarter. Anh took care of our entire trip until our last day in Hanoi. He was very good in anticipating all our needs which made the trip hassle and worry free.

Day 1 was a city tour which was very convenient for us. It was a private tour for my family (7 of us including 2 kids) on a Toyota Innova. We took our time in each places that we visited as our tour guide, Tieu Dat allowed us to enjoy the scenery and culture. He was very good especially to my nephew whom he entertained with lots of educational info and trivia about the places we visited. Food arranged was also very good and filling through Hanoi Lagacy Hotel in Ho Bac.
In the evening, they had us ride the bike for a tour of the streets in Old Quarter. It was such a nice feeling doing window shopping without walking tirelessly through the streets that were lined up with almost everything - from clothes, bags, toys, house/kitchen tools and food.

Anh also arranged our 2 day cruise in Halong through Luxury Imperial Cruise. We were picked up from the hotel to Halong port. After the cruise, they drove us back to Hanoi but were transferred to Hanoi Legacy Hotel in Bat Su.

Both Hanoi Legacy Bat Su and Spring Flower Hotel have big, modern and clean family rooms plus hearty breakfast buffet. I love that their coffee was so good and was not limited to 1 cup.

On our last day, we were allowed to keep 1 superior room until 10pm for only $30 since our flight back to Manila was scheduled at 1am.

All in all, the package given to us was just right for our family. We would normally do our own itinerary and not pay for tours but taking advantage of the package Legacy hotel offered was the right thing to do especially if you are visiting a place where it was a little bit difficult to communicate in English. Our family did a DIY tour in Singapore and Malaysia back in 2010 and a lot of time were wasted looking and figuring out the way to the places we planned to visit. For a reasonable price of $1106 we had an excellent 4 night/ 4 day trip c/o Hanoi Legacy.

Thank you again, Anh! :) I can sincerely say I love Vietnam - Hanoi and Halong Bay and you, together with Hoa Pham, Tieu Dat, Power Man Le and all the rest of the crew of Legacy and Imperial Cruise were the biggest factor to this enjoyable stay.

A friend of mine strongly recommended that I stay at Hanoi Legacy On Bat Su and I'm so glad I took their advice.
The location and area is perfect - I found it safe, central and friendly.
The staff go beyond to take care of you.
The room for the price is unbeatable value.
Breakfast is great.
I used the hotel tour desk, which is something I normally avoid, and using their knowledge had 2 amazing tours.
I will be back.

Good location, good hotel in general, specially the suite with balcony where we stayed, would recommend.

Breakfast is lame in the smallest of rooms so would consider out for it....

Booking for tours is made easy by the tour desk.

The sleep was good even though the communist speakers might go off early in the morning.

Room Tip: Rooms with balcony

We spent two small nights in the hotel. 1 before going to halong-bay and the second at the back. The only problem is the noise, As it's situated in the old city, cars and motorcycle starts belling very early. The staff is very nice and helpful. I'll recommend it to my friends.

We were afraid when we went to Hanoi .because the hotel was not to expensive, a regular price and we were pleasant surprised how nice the rooms were...big, comfortable , a lot of natural light, nice and modern bathroom and in the best location if you want to enjoy the rhythm of the city...
Being in the OLD QUARTER... allows you to feel Hanoi old traditional city.
During the old time each street was selling something different from the other...still you can see some streets that sells only one product....Few blocks from the hotel you reach to Hoan Kiem Lake...
Stuff is more than helpful...you can leave part of your luggage while traveling to other places. You feel you are in a 5 starts hotel in a regular hotel.
Breakfast place can be better maintained....
From your balcony you can see in the morning, locals watering the huge Bonsais on their balconies. chickens ...Yes, I said chickens running on the roof of balconies...
Hanoi streets are crazy to walk but this is part of the CHARM ....bikes and locals cooking on the walkways then most likely you have to walk on the streets were traffic is chaotic ....you should walk and the motorbikes drive around you...my husband told me close your eyes and cross the street...

Room Tip: Ask for the top floor room facing the street, if you don't have it also the rooms bellow facing...
