Had a superb stay here at the Art Trendy Hotel. The service was exceptional from the minute we arrived- cold face cloth, fresh fruit & juice. All questions we had about transport were answered helpfully by Jenny. The coffee was buttery and the mango crepes were even better than those I've had in France! We'd love to stay here again if we return to Hanoi. Thanks for everything :)

Stayed here at the start of my cycling trip and the staff couldn't do enough to help me! Very friendly, they really put themselves out for me.

Oh, and the breakfast? Good selection, all I could tuck away!

Friendliest staff I've ever encountered while traveling! This hotel has a perfect location right in the heart of the Old Quarter in Hanoi and the staff all speak english fairly well. They helped us book tours and gave us great recommendations of places to see and where to eat in Hanoi. The rooms are big, very clean and comfortable. The best hotel in the Old Quarter!

It still brings a smile to my face to remember our stay at the Hanoi Art Trendy Hotel - it is a real little gem and one of the most enjoyable small boutique hotels I've ever stayed in.
A quick summary - the staff are absolutely fantastic and make this place really stand out. In particular, Emily, who helped us make many arrangements when we arrive at short notice (promise we will send pics Emily!) and Jenny. Everything they arranged for us or recommended was top-notch as well so you can trust their suggestions. Rooms are spotlessly clean with really good bathrooms and shower, which you'll be grateful for after yomping round the Old Quarter of Hanoi.
The Hotel's location is perfect - a small side street right in the old quarter about 10 minutes stroll from the lake (if you don't get lost!). Breakfast is in a small area behind the lobby, only about 6 tables but never crowded and the breakfast is great - fresh fruit, one of the best omelettes I've ever had and the Mango Pancake is awesome.
We stayed four nights in total, two consecutive and the other two in between our trips out of the city - the hotel looked safely after all our luggage while we were away.
We felt really at home and genuinely welcomed here - I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Room Tip: We had one of the slightly larger room for two nights and that did make a bit of a difference - the...

My wife and I had booked Art Trendy for four nights with a one-night Halong Bay excursion in between. When we first got there, the staff were very helpful and spoke very well, addressing our queries and seeing to our needs in a very professional manner. However, it was upon our return from Halong Bay that they showed the full extent of their 7-star service delivery.

I returned from Halong Bay sick. And although the kitchen was already closed at that time of night, the staff quickly offered to make bacon and eggs. Even though all we could eat was bread, the staff quickly toasted several baguettes with jam and sent it to our room. They never charged us for it. They also volunteered out of their own concern to help us buy medicine, but we decided to see a doctor instead.

After coming back from the doctor with medicine, the staff called to ensure that we were comfortable and asked whether we needed anything. They asked about changes in flight timings and made the changes in transfers with their own initiative.

Although we had to forfeit a night to return home early, and it was not possible due to hotel policy to refund us, the staff did try to refund us some from the airport transfer. The gesture was unconditionally generous on their part, but we told them to keep that as tips. They had also bought medical masks for me to use, without charge.

After we'd returned home, the staff continued to ask after our well-being... You guys at the Art Trendy are the best.

My wife and I have traveled the world quite a bit and we've experienced a whole range of different service standards in many cities, from large luxury brand hotels to boutique family-run businesses. And we must say that the service rendered to us at Art Trendy Hanoi is the best, world-class service anyone would ever get in any part of the world. They showed genuine humanity and care in their approach, sensitivity in offering suggestions and help, and practical initiative that is ultimately useful to any customers' needs. Jenny, Yen and Charlie (Toan), you guys really made our stay special. While we might not have very strong memories of Hanoi as a city, we will always remember the three of you for being superb at the front desk. Charlie personally handled all our needs with a confidence and initiative that would be rare even in experienced service staff in luxury hotels. And any hotel with Charlie at the front desk will always have guests coming back because of his friendly nature, practical offers of assistance and competent managerial skills.

We've given a maximum of rating here in tripadvisor, but if we could, the staff of Art Trendy Hanoi would deserve double on this current rating scale. We never write reviews, but such extraordinary service needs to be told... because it is just so very rare.

After a day of travelling coming back from Along Bay, we booked this hotel at the last minute and arrived around midnight starving and tired. When they saw that we were hungry, even if it was very late, they brought us some eggs, toasts, cheese and a hot tea to our room. What a great welcome. The room was fantastic and the bed so comfortable, the breakfast was amazing and the staff is awesome. Even if the hotel is in the old quarter, it is located on a quiet street away from the chaos. They even arranged a private car to the airport. We should have stayed here our entire stay in Hanoi...Would stay here again. Highly recommended.

This hotel gets top marks from the first warm welcome to the over-the-top service. The hotel is located off a small street that is blocked off to traffic so there is little street noise at night. The family room suites are spacious and have large shower rooms with rain shower heads. Rooms are very clean. Breakfast is more than ample with fresh fruit, omelettes, and great coffee. The best part is the extraordinary service by the front staff who go overboard to help with a smile. The hotel is centrally located, close to everything. We would come back here the next time we're in Hanoi which we hope is soon.
