We stayed at this hotel for 1 night and we wish it could have been longer! The rooms were modern, clean and quiet! The staff were so incredibly helpful! Although we only stayed one night they are minding our bags while we go to sapa for 3 nights! The breakfast was also great with a wide range of choices! Would recommend anyone to stay here!

I checked out of another hotel down the block after a terrible night's sleep, and wandered into the Tu Linh looking for something better. The staff was very helpful and sorted me out with a single room right away. When I told them my other hotel had failed to give me enough blankets or a space heater for the cold January night, they made sure I had a well-insulated room and an electric heating pad on the bed. Perfect!

Four computers on the ground floor for your use, if you don't have a laptop with you. The included breakfast is very simple - fruit, eggs, bread and (mediocre) coffee. They arranged for me to share a taxi to the airport with other guests leaving at the same time, which as a solo traveler, saved me $10 and was much appreciated. The elevator is helpful if you have big bags or don't want to walk 5-6 flights of stairs.

My only complaint is that they quoted a price in USD and then gave me a bad exchange rate when I paid in VND. Just avoid the issue and pay in USD.

My husband and I have just spent 4 nights in room 602 , spotlessly clean, is a large room with 6' zip link bed, very quiet, plenty of hot water, plenty of sockets and also a socket on the wall in the middle of the bed which was ideal for using the ipad .It was very cold so I asked for another bed cover and was offered an extra heater also. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was melon, bananas and a choice of freshly cooked items with crusty rolls, jam, tea/coffee. Menu said orange and lemon juice but there was never any lemon juice and the orange juice was not very nice. We had 2 fried eggs and a piece of bacon every morning. Although what we ate for breakfast was very nice I feel it could have been better. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay, were it not for the breakfast I would give it 5 stars.

We stayed with the family at this hotel. The rooms were nice, and the service was excellent. They worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. The location is excellent, smack in the middle of lots of activity. Nice restaurants on this street, lots of bars around the corner. All this plus a free breakfast.

We stayed at Tulinh Palace 2 for a few nights. The first time we stayed there as we were upgraded to the honeymoon suite by Tulinh Palace 1. It was such a nice surprise, especially at that time we were tired from a long trip. The manager Chin at Tulinh Palace 2 was helpful and the staff there were friendly, polite and helpful. Chin tried to help all guests to ensure that they were enjoying their stay in the hotel and Hanoi. We then went to Sapa and went back to that hotel at 4.40 am, the staff opened the rolling door for us and we had a nap in the "relaxing room" as we couldn't check in as yet at that time, the "relaxing room" was comfortable. Then we checked in at 9.15 am when the room was available.
It was lovely of them to do that as it was much earlier than the usual check in time.
If I go back to Hanoi again, I will defenitly stay thr. The ambience was warm and nice, friendly and helpful staff, and good location.

Really nice clean hotel in great location in the Old Quarter. Tasty breakfast and tea and coffee included. The staff are really friendly and helpful and helped us organise a memorable two night trip to Halong Bay plus airport transfers. One of the best hotels i've stayed at in SE Asia. Would definitely stay here again.

We received a very warm welcome from one of the hotel employees who upgraded us to the 'honeymoon suite' when our room appeared not yet cleaned; a simple but clean and spacious room (mattresses were a bit hard) with windows on the street side. Mr Chin went out of his way to keep all hotel guests happy and arranged for our night train tickets to Sapa and trustworthy taxi rides. This definitely contributed to a pleasant stay; many other hotel mangers in Vietnam (we learned during our trip) could learn from his hospitality and kindness. Breakfast was fine: a choice of an egg dish (freshly prepared) and tea/coffee/juice. Also the location was great: close to Long Bien bus station where we arrived from the airport and right in the middle of the Old Quarter, surrounded by many restaurants and bars. Our pick was 'New Day', a big place with cheap dishes of good quality and nice staff. Definitely recommended!
