“World class staff”
Reviewed 14 July 2013

The staff here are absolutely amazing, very helpful, kind and have a good sense of humour. The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The free breakfast is delicious, with variety. The staff went beyond their duty with helping us out with so many things. I lost my phone, and the staff arranged all police reports, all communication, and drove me to the police station. I can highly recommend the Art Boutique hotel when in Hanoi. We really miss the staff there. For the price of the rooms, the quality and service is absolutely amazing, it is world class 5 star. We were amazed at how very reasonable the price was.

We'd like to add our review to all the positive endorsements this hotel is receiving. A comfortable, well appointed hotel with staff who couldn't be more friendly or helpful, this is better than a budget hotel. The staff really want you to enjoy your stay in Hanoi. And there is a laptop in each room! The location in the old town in excellent, with several of Hanoi's best street food establishments within 100 metres. Most of the interesting CIty sites are within walking distance, or a $2 taxi ride away - and the staff will make sure the driver knows where to go. Worth a five star rating.

Nice small boutique hotel, good meal and very pleasant staff. They advised us with trips and were able to book everything a night before a trip. Shower after check-out available. All for promo price of USD 30 per night.

A truly exceptional experience Amazing staff - so helpful, conscientious, happy and welcoming. Staff helped us arrange great trips including Ha Long Bay on A-class cruise and made it very easy for us. They provide a great area map which basically condenses you're lonely planet down to a single page back and front. I cannot praise them enough - each and every one. Great location in the lively centre - colorful and vibrant a small and incredibly friendly hotel

My mother, daughter and i stayed at the Art Boutique for 3 nights. The staff were so polite and helpful, nothing was a problem all requests answered with a smile. Its hard to believe such service still exists. They remembered our names from reception staff down to the door man all greeted us with our names morning and night. The whole hotel was tastefully decorated and very clean. Breakfast was buffet style for cereal, bread, juice and hot drinks and cooked breakfast was via a menu and you could order more than once. Waiters constantly asked if everything was satisfactory, for once your opinion counted and you werent just a number. Our room was on the top floor and had a large balcony, great for people who smoke. We did recommend they add a blind or curtain to this glass door as the morning light beamed in and woke us up. No sooner had we suggested it they were wanting to measure up. I would definately recommend this hotel and will return in the future.

First of all, going into a reservation blind is always a challenge and as the Chair of statewide tourism team in the USA and well-traveled expat of more than ten years I wasn't going to be phased by another Asian hotel claiming to be a great hotel because many of them are not. However! The Art Boutique Hotel of Hanoi blew my mind away with several unexpected treats. First, their staff... truly friendly, gracious, and humble, especially the young fella Long. We were very impressed with everyone at the front desk and their ability/skills in languages, knowledge of Hanoi, and overall management of the hotel operation. While it might have been "down season" when we went in June our rooms were upgraded each night by first their doing and second by our request (we stayed their twice in one week). The rooms in this facility are spectacular, clean, super comfortable, and come with fresh fruit, water, tons of amenities, and even a bolted-down laptop with access to wifi.... truly impressive.

The morning breakfasts were another treat beyond expected... fresh fruit, loads of beverages and coffee each day, and a menu that just about anyone can eat from. We were even offered seconds for breakfast if we wished to have them.

Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Hanoi, but encourage them to book directly through the hotel itself because their three night policy will earn you one trip to/from the airport for free. Otherwise, if you book through a third-party provider you will not be granted this service. Just a minor glitch in their policy as we would not have discovered the hotel had we not be redirected to agoda (a third party provider for hotels, etc.). Something to improve on... afterall, nothing is perfect, but this place is really close to it.

Room Tip: All seemed to be very good, I highly doubt there is a bad room unless you don't get a window.
