“Best hotel stayed at in Hanoi”
Reviewed 5 January 2014

The hotel emailed us which no other hotel has ever done so and I have done a lot of travelling and this was my response
.
Thank you very much for your email, yes we arrived home safely only this mourning. In regards to the breakfast we did not find it a problem in any way and to be honest your hotel was the best we stayed in and the staff (all the staff) were the most helpful in all ways. We could not fault the staff in anyway or form, and they are a credit to your hotel. They make the stay so pleasurable, they are friendly, approachable and have a lot of good information on Hanoi and Vietnam.

We were extremely happy with the room and that it was kept so clean and tidy and made up each day once we had left for the day, it was so good to come back to a tidy room

The food also was the best breakfasts we had in our whole stay in Vietnam.

I would 100% tell other about how good your hotel is and I would 100% book again if I was to stay in Hanoi with my family.

Please pass this information onto to all the staff at the front of the hotel meeting guests.

Many, many thanks

Michael, Elunor and Fraser Roberts

Room Tip: We had family room with balcony which was real cheap and great views over old quater

I stayed at the Art Boutique hotel in December 2013 with my husband and two daughters. The hotel was lovely, the staff helpful and kind. We stayed in the family room which was absolutely charming with a private balcony, complete with swing chair, where we could sit high above the bustling streets of the old quarter. This was a real treat and a great find. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed only one night but would have happily stayed longer. Our room was quite small but that impression may have been caused by the size of the bed which could have slept 4 comfortably. Room well furnished with lap top, large TV and fresh fruit.
The staff though are the best feature of this hotel. They were attentive, organised and super efficient. On arrival I made them aware that my wife was feeling ill (the result of the previous night's bender) and within minutes they had tea and yoghurt provided to her bedside. When she requested some bland food they arranged that from a nearby take away.
When I asked for help arranging train tickets they took over and had our tickets sorted within minutes. Even when I returned, shamefacedly, to say I had given them the wrong dates, they didn't bat an eyelid, but undertook to change the train tickets to the correct date. Tickets awaiting me at reception the next morning.
Breakfast was terrific too.
Book this hotel without hesitation!

I stayed at the Art Hotel for four nights. The hotel is centrally located in the old town. You can walk everywhere easily. All the folks that worked there so warm and friendly and treated me like a friend for the duration of my stay. The room was was excellent value for money, I have stayed in four star hotels in NY and Paris that are nowhere near as nice as this one. The bed was massive and comfy, the bathroom had products including a toothbrush if you forget yours and there is free tea, coffee, fruit and water which is replenished every day. The breakfast is also good, there is a mix of vietnamese and western food. If you don't fancy it then walk out the door and two minutes from the hotel is street food heaven. The staff are very knowledgeable about the city and will help and advice you. If you wish you can book tours to Halong Bay /Sapa etc.. from there as well. I can't recommend this hotel hightly enough and would like to thank the guys for making my stay in Hanoi such a pleasant one.

We stayed 3 nights at the Art Boutique Hotel in Hanoi from 23-26 December 2013. The staff were exceptional. I had organised a car from the airport by email before we left home with the hotel and that went smoothly. The breakfast was the best we had since we arrived in Vietnam. There was a selection of fresh fruit, juice, nice coffee, cereals, yoghurts then you got to choose from the menu if you wanted more, as it was all included in the price. That was a bonus as you always got lovely fresh food. The staff also organised a car for us to go to Mai Chau and back after we left the hotel. The only downside for us was the room we had. The room itself was clean but it was noisy and we had no window. The noise came from a drunken guest in the wee hours of the morning (not the hotel's fault) and also people checking out before 7am as we were at the top of the stairs above reception. We had trouble with the air-conditioning which was fixed on the first night but it reverted back to not being able to work individually on the second night so we gave up. We would willingly recommend this hotel and would stay there again but would insist on not being on the first floor above reception and would want a window.

Room Tip: choose one with a window away from the reception

The hotel is in the heart of the 'old quarter' district of Hanoi - a busy, bustling neighborhood. You're steps away from many places to eat, shop and sightseeing. The Art Boutique Hotel is an oasis with clean, modern rooms and all services tended to by a wonderful, helpful and friendly staff. I recommend this hotel without any hesitation!

Room Tip: Note: many hotels (and other buildings) throughout Viet Nam are narrow and therefore some rooms don...

I can't recommend this hotel highly enough. When you arrive from Europe in Hanoi, the city seems strikingly different. The Art Boutique hotel is a gem in the frenetic old city of Hanoi. Full of Vietnamese Asian charm, clean and a haven of peace. The rooms are very well priced and beautiful. The food is fabulous, but best of all is the service. Everyone is incredibly helpful and friendly. We made a mistake by leaving some of our luggage at the hotel when we checked out. Chris and his team worked hard and efficiently to ensure it all arrived with us at the airport before departure and they even picked up the tab.
