“A step back in time and it was wonderful!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 10 July 2014

We arrived in Hanoi late, around 10 pm. We were welcomed and the check in was quick. This was good since we needed an ATM and some dinner. We made our way around the block and then sat down just a few doors down and had a great late night meal. The room was nice, we had a street view and the windows are sound proof. The view is priceless, if you know what I mean. The breakfast was good and the food was of high quality. We had a nice couple of nights and if you want to be in the Old Quarter look no further.

Room Tip: Get a room facing the street.

What a lovely way to start our 4 week holiday in Vietnam!! Art Boutique Hotel was just beautiful! The room was huge, comfortable and immaculately clean. The breakfast buffet was fresh and delicious. The staff were so genuine and helpful, they really made us feel like part of the family and wanted to ensure we had a great time in Hanoi. Their knowledge and advice about local attractions, taxi services and restaurants etc was exceptional. When we had difficulty finding our way to our train to Sapa the hotel not only ordered us a cab but one of the staff escorted us to the train station, picked up our tickets and settled us into our carriage, so amazing!! They even gave me a cake and sung me Happy Birthday on our last night there, it was my 30th the following day!! Thank you so much to all the staff, you made our stay in Hanoi very special!!

Special Thanks to Tuyet Lan and her Crew that made our stay outstandingly brilliant! Their exceptional level of customer service is almost unparalleled. They go the extra mile to provide a wealth of accurate and useful information on locality, service was prompt and they all made a good effort to remember the names of ALL the hotel guests which adds a very special personal touch to guests feeling very at home in a foreign land. Chatting with them brightens your day to start and ends your day with a lasting smile. They never failed to open the door, carry your luggage for you or greet you with a smile every time they see you. Their communication skills in English is very good and easy to understand too. They are very motivated to serve each and every customer with their best and you really feel each and every of their sincere amiable character. The duty receptionist walk over every morning to personally sit and serve you the 1st meal of the day. Their Hospitality is unmatched!
The hotel rooms are clean, seemingly new and well maintained with all the necessary facilities in place as you would expect or even not anticipated for the price of the room you paid for. Hair dryer, safe, fridge, TV with lots of channels, nice warm comfy beds, rain shower and shower heads, fast dedicated wifi router PER ROOM and even a laptop in each room for guests to use.
There's even a balcony with a nice little swing in our room over looking the streets in the old quarters. The price paid for this hotel is more than reasonable and value for money. It definitely left us with an ineradicable imprint. Oh did i forget that they surprise us with heartshaped gift boxes of jello after each housekeeping?

Room Tip: The rooms are typically elongated as are all the buildings in old quarters. Choose the Family room w...

Wonderful part of our holiday, great staff always there to help. If only to assist me to find a mini mart, which was only 2 doors up but such a small shop front I missed it. Lovely rooms, cleaned every day, such personal service was really special. Breakfast was amazing always encouraging us to eat our fill to get us through the day. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hanoi.

We stayed at The Art Boutique Hotel for 4 nights in May 2014. After a long flight from Australia we were greeted with a warm smile, cool wash cloths and a delicious welcome juice! We stayed in a family balcony room, which was really well appointed with 2 queen beds and plenty storage space. It was great to have a balcony over looking the bustling streets of the old quarter complete with a double swinging chair, which my kids really loved! The shower was great too, the best water pressure we had in Vietnam! The Hotel was happy to store our luggage while we were on a cruise on Halong Bay and they even had our laundry cleaned and waiting for us on our return. Breakfasts were great with plenty of tasty options to choose from. We found the location great, very central and not noisy in the night. The staff were always very helpful and every time we returned to the hotel after a day or night out, we were welcomed like long lost friends. We really, really enjoyed our stay!

I stayed at the Art Boutique Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam for 10 days. This place really has it going on. The wonderful staff, Charly, Lan, and Huyuan, really made me feel welcome and special. They went out of their way to make sure that I had everything I needed. They gave wonderful advice on tours, food, shopping, monuments, etc. and even accompanied me to buy silk one afternoon (it was low season, so they had time) As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe and looked out for by the staff at this hotel. I could not have put my vacation in more capable hands.

Ms. Emily Le helped with my reservation via email. She was efficient and friendly and booked a trip to Sapa (3 days, 2 nights) and a cruise down Halong Bay (3 days, 2 nights ) for me. All of the vouchers and transfers were in perfect order. Breakfast was awesome and there was so much food served that I wouldn't get hungry again until 2-3pm in the afternoon.

The rooms have many personal touches. Flowers strewn across the bed, candy, water, fruit, all complimentary. Because of the Art Boutique Hotel, my vacation was seamless and without hitches, which is saying a lot in frenetic Hanoi

I would recommend this hotel to ANYONE without hesitation. When I return to Hanoi, I intend to stay there again.

Room Tip: The quiet room is crazy great!!

We only stayed one night, our lást night in Hanoi, however we found it a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of the streets below. The staff were super friendly. The rooms well appointed and extremely comfortable. The hotel took care of our laundry needs overnight (for which we were very grateful after a muddy time in Sapa), directed ús to local eating spots, markets and money exchange, and organised our transfer to the airport. This hotel is hard to fault.

Room Tip: Rôom 702 comes with ít ơn balcony and city views, complete with swing chair
