My husband and I stayed in a one bedroom apartment for nine nights. We chose it over staying in a hotel because we wanted to be able to make snacks and do the laundry (we were in Vietnam for 25 nights and did a couple of side trips from Hanoi).
The apartment was not luxurious but was clean, bright and sunny - exactly what we were expecting. There were a couple of small maintance issues such as the kettle and DVD player not working but as soon as we called down to reception both were immediately replaced.
The restaurant served breakfast which included eggs and bacon, croissants, cereal etc. We didn't see anyone eating lunch or dinner and didn't eat there as we either took a taxi into Hanoi which was only 15 minutes away or brought snacks to eat in the apartment. We only found one restaurant with in walking distance of the apartment - Top Chef - we tried it but it lacked atmosphere and was rather overpriced.
All in all the apartment was good value and I would recommend it.
