We spent 3 night at this hotel and room clean and tidy, all the hotel staff very friendly and helpful too. Hotel as in the heart of Hanoi, a lot of great street food and shop surrounding, close walk to Hoan Kiem Lake

We picked this hotel as it's in the heart of Hanoi, surrounded by lots of great street food and local shops, close walking distance to the Old Quarter. Staff was very friendly and helpful (Henry, Tony Dat, Luc..).
Our room was on level 3, clean and well equipped, a bit stuffy sometimes due to no windows.
We stayed here for 17 days, would recommend this place to everyone :)

Was not disappointed in this lovely hotel. Well-appointed rooms and cozy roof-top breakfast room. Location makes it easy to walk to & around Hoan Kiem Lake--definitely get up early to see the locals start their day. In the evening, enjoy a smoothie next door & watch the traffic go by--amazing! All staffers were friendly & helpful. Thanks, Henry!

Great hotel with lovely rooms and very friendly staff. The hotel is in a very good part of Hanoi (shoe street) as it is known locally because they only sell shoes. A 2 minute walk away is the lake with its Red Bridge and Temple which are all lit up at night. At the top of the lake you will find good bars and restaurants. A good tip is the bars are usually on the roof or higher floors from the street so find the stairs to reach them. The traffic in the area is really mad and forms one of the features of this great city. The hotel itself is very upmarket for its star rating. The breakfast room is on the roof and is very adequate with all you will need. Eggs are cooked to order and there is tea/coffee and Vietnamese dishes. You will not be disappointed.

Room tip: We had 2 rooms during our stay and both were very good. Higher the better.

Right on shoe street, just around the corner from the lake, you can walk the whole old quarter from the hotel. Attentive staff, but the hotel was quite run down. Breakfast only average, but enough if you are not too fussy. Overall an excellent budget hotel

Room tip: The rooms without a window are smaller, but you don't get the street noise
