It is not easy for a vegetarian to find food in Ho Chi Minh, especially if, like myself, you always like to hit the food stalls and eat street food.
This place is conveniently located in the backpackers district. It is not a 'nice' restaurant with atmosphere or anything. It is a place to go and have a very satisfying Vietnamese vegetarian option.
The place is extremely basic, as is the service (no paper napkins, tables are not perfectly clean and have no table cloth on it).
Still, if you are after nice tasting food, I would have no hesitation in recommending this place. The vegetarian menu has plenty of choice and the food is very good. Even though I am pretty sure the spring rolls were pre-prepared and were just tossed in boiling oil before serving because some of them were almost cold. This said, it is very tasty, the special vegetable noodles are a real treat.
I will, for sure, go back in the time I have left here in HCMC (BTW, cold jasmine tea is complimentary and goes well with anything you are eating! Another plus).
If you are vegetarian, it is a place to try out.
