The rooms are tiny and very clean, but surrounded by bars and restaurants/clubs that go until all hours of the night. I was woken once by a screaming match in the street between a "professional girl" and her customer about services rendered. For the travelers who love hitting the bars, this place is an excellent deal with a perfect location. I'm a bit old for that now, so I would aim for a hotel above the park, rather than below. No elevator was a bit of a pain with a suitcase.

The hotel is old, and the internet can sometimes be unreliable. But the hotel rooms are VERY clean and mostly comfortable. They even provide free laundry facility for one set of clothes per person per day.

I would definitely recommend this hotel at the lower price points that it is available at.

Stayed here for 1 night via walk-in. 300K Dong per night for a standard room with window. No elevator so had to climb up the stairs to 5th floor, room 502. Wanted a lower room level as we were having muscle aches with all those walking for the past few days at HCMC but was all occupied. This hotel was actually recommended by an American whom we had bumped into. It was a very basic room which we don't mind. They provided wifi, free international calls and free laundry (1 set of clothing per day). Excess of laundry cleaning at 21k Dog per kg. Should try staying here if you are looking for a budget hotel. Room is in an small street but big enough for a car to enter, there are restaurants just opposite the hotel. No worries about walking in the street at night.

Room Tip: Do look for a lower floor room if you have difficulties in climbing.

We stayed in the standard room for 3 nights and had a really good stay. The room is small but have everything you need including nice comfortable bed, safety box, fridge and a clean bathroom. The room is actually nicer than the picture and the bathroom nicer then what you usually get for this price. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the fact that they offer free laundry (one set if clothes per day) is just amazing service! The only things that were slightly bad was that the room got very light in the morning so bring a eyemask if you don't want to wake up early. Also our room was at the 5:th floor with no lift so it was a bit of a climb to get there. But all in all this place is excellent value for money and I would definitely come back!

Booking this place sight unseen did worry me. Hotel pickup was waiting for me at the airport. Heck in was painless. My room was on the 5th floor (with no elevator) but hey I need the exercise. The room was small and old - but it was clean.

Wifi, free laundry, free local calls and close to all the Bui Vien action. Front rooms are a little noisy but I can sleep through anything when on holiday so it didn't bother me.

I would stay here again - as long as the price stays low

I stayed 8 days in this hotel and was very pleased with the service provided etc, The receptionists speak Englis which helps a lot.. There are dozens of restuarants in walking distance and parks just at the end of the road.Because it is a tourist area ,the streets are safe to walk around at night. Tourist maps available at the hotel and they can arrange transport to and from the airports. It pays to arrange before arriving in Saigon with the hotel for a taxi to meet you at the airport especially if arriving at night.Hotel has free laundry service which is a bonus. This hotel is a budget hotel, but the rooms are clean and serviced each day and for what they charge you may find it difficult to find a similar type of hotel for the price. The rooms have private bathrooms with hot water showers HOWEVER,if you would lke a more upmarket hotel, but still moderately priced,Mr Tan the owner has two other hotels within walking distance and his staff will be pleased to show you before you decide where to stay.I have visited Vietnam 9 times and have stayed in Mr. Tan's hotels before, but first time in this hotel.Saigon is now refered to by some as Little America. Not sure if that is good or bad ???It is more progressive than the North.

Room Tip: Sometimes the most expensive rooms are the ones facing the streets .Tourists often ask for a room wi...
