We happened upon this restaurant walking near the Sheraton in downtown HCMC. The place is long and narrow, like so many establishments here where street frontage is optimum real estate. The place is clean and western-looking with decor in black, white and red. The menu is Vietnamese and we have been back several times already. The fried seafood rice is to die for. And the fish in tamarind sauce is also very good. So are the shrimp dishes. And of course it all is enjoyed with Tiger beer or Heineken--what did Heineken do to become the absolute top imported beer here? This place is under the radar--the name is certainly nothing special. But it is well worth a visit, and for now the place does not attract the tourist crowds. There is a full bar in the rear of the restauraurant.
