“Not bad”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 25 April 2014

The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. My room didn't have any windows and what I assume a very strong sewage smell. I had to keep the toilet lid down and the plug in the sink along with the bathroom door closed.

The bed was comfortable and wifi in the room.

Breakfast wasn't all that to be honest. I ordered an omelette one morning that never arrived and I had to leave for a tour so no breakfast.

I did have a massage at the hotel which I was given a voucher for 60000 dong off by reception and during their happy hour a 90 min massage was 145000 dong! Bargain!

Overall it's not bad but given the choice I would have stayed somewhere else. It was booked for me as part of a tour.

My friends and I traveled to Ho Chi Minh back in December for 4 days. I decided to book Queen Ann months before our scheduled trip due to a recommendation of a friend. The price was really affordable and the rooms looked nice and decent based on the hotel's gallery, so I decided to give it a go. We arrived at midnight in HCMC, got ripped off big time by a taxi in the airport, then dropped off to Queen Ann. We arrived too early since the our check-in time would be still be at 2pm in the afternoon. No spare rooms were available but one of the staff, Mr. Son, was super helpful and concerned about us that he decided to look for a nearby hostel for us to stay in before our check-in the next morning. He even gave us a map of the city and provided tips how to navigate the significant tourist spots around town by ourselves! Never felt so grateful!

The next morning we went back to Queen Ann and checked in our respective rooms. And man, it was very cozy and clean! The beds were very soft and comfortable. There was free wifi access, tv, computer and refrigerator. The bathroom was very neat and also equipped with complete toiletries. The breakfast buffet was amazing! On our last day, Mr. Son even contacted me through the staff and made sure everything went well on our stay. Such thoughtful and amazing staff!

Queen Ann Hotel was my first hotel I stayed in Vietnam and it was very good.

The room was really clean, quite comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well equipped. The staff are friendly, willing to help and keen to ensure your stay is pleasant. The in-house restaurant is on the 10th floor, has a nice view over the city. The free breakfast was a good first taste of Vietnamese food. Wi-fi was fast.

I' m touch of their Honesty. We forgotten to lock the safe box and inside got about $500. Money was still there when we return. Thank you so much.

I stayed for 4 days and would be happy to stay again. A good hotel, with good value for money. Honest staff. Well worth a look.

Fine location within restaurants serving traditional Vietnamese noodles, all the staff are friendly and accommodating. The space is not that large yet it provides everything you need in your stay.

One particular thing I noted is that housekeeping services comes then knocks at your door while you're sleeping just to inform you that they are there.

I am more amused than annoyed by them, In fact it makes me appreciate this uncommon practice. :-)

This spot was located well, making it easy to walk to the sights or jump in a cab with ease. The room was a decent size, modern, clean and the street was quiet enough. The internet was zippy and the air conditioning worked as well as most AC in the South East Asia area, which means you need to give it 5 minutes before you can feel the benefits. The included breakfast was pretty good, offering eggs anyway you want them and/or noodles if preferred, as well as many other selections.

The staff was very helpful, though the English wasn't excellent. All in all I would stay here again for the price.

The Queen Ann Hotel was my first in Vietnam and it was very good.

The room was really clean, quite comfortable and had surprisingly quite, given its street frontage (I was on the 4th floor). The bathroom was similarly clean and well equipped. The staff are friendly, willing to help and keen to ensure your stay is pleasant. The in-house restaurant is on the 10th floor, has a nice view over the city and the wait staff are really friendly and up for a chat if you are so inclined. The free breakfast was a good first taste of Vietnamese food (though a little bland compared to what I have had since) and dinner that night was also pleasant. Wi-fi was fast and the location is close to many of the major Saigon tourist attractions.

I stayed for 3 nights and would be happy to stay again. A good hotel, with good value for money. Well worth a look.

Room Tip: Rooms with street frontage have windows, but expect some traffic noise. Try for a higher floor to av...

We booked late for this hotel but consequently got a very good price. Didn't get to breakfast as had early morning departure, so cant comment on that, but the staff organized a take away breakfast for us - not exciting but included a welcome bottle of water, and was a nice thought. Room wasn't huge but was very clean, and more than adequate. Bathroom very spacious. No coffee and tea in rooms, but staff very nice and helpful eg getting us taxis, maps etc. Would recommend
