We enjoyed our stay at Hotel. Staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The room was clean and comfortable and the location of the hotel was great. Breakfast was buffet style and there was plenty of choice. Would stay there again!

The location is very good since it is in the center of the city. We held a training workshop in the hotel. this is one of the hotels with function rooms frequented by non-government organizations in HCM. Accommodation is ok, but there is a need for more support staff for the function rooms.

Overall a very decent stay, triple sharing room was made up of two single beds and an extra bed. Beds were comfortable and clean. With stand alone air-conditioning units so you can adjust the temperature to the exact degree that you like. Bathroom was reasonably sized and had a good shower.

There is free wifi through out the hotel which was fast as well, we couldn't connect to the one on our floor for some reason so we connected to the next floor instead, no big issue.

While there was some sound from the streets and nearby kindergarten in the early morning we were not overly disturbed and still managed to get a decent sleep.

Breakfast at the hotel was nothing special, reasonably sized spread with a western corner, asian breakfast, cereals, bread, egg station, pho, fruits and yogurt. We stayed for 3 nights and could not recall if there was a change to the menu.

Close by the hotel are various local business and restaurants, there is a street nearby selling ladies accessories, the street where the hotel is located has a few bakeries. It's a 30 minute walk to Behn Tan Market but taxi's are in abundance, there is a Vina Sun taxi both right outside the hotel in case you can't flag one by the road.

I would definitely consider it if I ever return to Sai Gon.

For a three star hotel ,the Sen Viet is definitely a class above. The reception staff are more than helpfull and speak enough English to help with all travel arrangements ( taxis etc.,)When we arrived ,the room had not yet been serviced ,this was NO problem ,we were upgraded to another
and have to say ,we were more than happy! For $41:50 a night ,with complementary breakfast, we had a king size bed ,lovely large room and a spa bath with shower head attached. The rooms were very clean and nicely appointed. My husband is a very large eater and the breakfast included bacon and as many eggs as you could want ,plus fresh juice ,fruit ,cereal toast ,plus assorted Asian breakfast foods. As a Spa was advertised on the hotels website ,we enquired and
was given the address of Jen,s Massage &. Spa . Here ,our holiday really took on the best
experience ever! Jen spoke perfect English ,having lived in Aust., for 10 years and BOY ,did she look after us ! Back massage ,facials ,manicures and pedicures ,so cheap average $ 10:00 /$12:00

Room Tip: Only 1fly in the ointment, breakfast is advertised from 0600hrs., to 0900hrs., However the staff d...

Hotel staff was very friendly upon entering and was very accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the bathrooms came with shampoo, body wash, toothpaste, shower shoes, ALL THE THINGS. The breakfast was pretty yummy and, of course, order some morning coffee (cafe sua da). I highly recommend staying here. The room's electricity turns on when you put the key in so I wouldn't put anything that can spoil after a short amount of time in the fridge. Its location is by the street so you can hear all of the honking of Saigon, but it's also near a lot of street vendors and shops to walk by.

Room Tip: Lower floors get hot water faster!

This is a standard style business hotel. Rooms aren't large or very stylish, but are very functional, with clean bathrooms, good AC, fridge, plenty of channels on cable etc. There is a spa on the 2nd floor, which offers reasonable massages - hot stone massage for 90 minutes was $12 USD including tip. The location is very convenient to the attractions in Q1 and the streets surrounding the hotel have plenty of dining and shopping options. The thing that sets this hotel apart is the staff. They were exceptionally pleasant, always greeting us with a smile, very helpful in every way, and seemed truly pleased to have us. We extended our stay from 2 to 4 nights based solely on this factor. Offers quite good value for money also.

As this was my first trip to Vietnam I wasn't sure what to expect with regard to the standard of hotels but was pleasantly surprised when our tour bus pulled up outside the Sen Viet Hotel.
Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed with what you would expect from a 3 * hotel. King size bed, flat screen TV, safe, quiet aircon etc.
Breakfast was fine with reasonable choice for both the adventurous and the not so.
Plus sides were the friendly courteous staff and the good free wifi, downside was noisy location and thin dividing walls, my best tip would be to pack a load of the disposable foam earplugs which I always carry. Mind you these were still not enough to block out the amorous efforts of the couple in the adjoining room at 1.30 am, luckily for me and maybe not so luckily for her it only lasted 5 minutes!
