This has to be the best authentic Indian resturant in Ho Chi Minh, no actually in whole Vietnam. The price, food & service are all five star. I would advise everyone to try the Cheese cutlet, Aloo dum it's absolutly amazing. The Dal Makhani is the best in Vietnam. I gurantee you will not miss your home food. For vegetarian lovers it is the best place in Vietnam to have vegetarian food. The owner is very good, helpful and friendly.

Best Indian food ever. Less than five minutes walk from Ben Than market. Tasty and cheap, don't forget the cheese nan, and the Banana lassi. You can ask them to make the dishes less "hot" if you prefer it this way.

i am rather a lover of indian food, and i have to say this is one of the most authentic and well cooked indian meals i have had. as i dont eat meat and my friend is a proper vegetarian, we were enticed inside by the menu offereing a huge array of meat and non meat dishes. and im glad we went for it!

the food as i said was delicious, the service could not be faulted - our waiter was friendly and pleasant and he had excellent english, although he was careful to leave us in peace too. i ordered a coconut drink and as they had none left he quickly jumped on his motorbike and zoomed away to get me one! customer satisfaction. and the prices were very reasonable too.

at then end of the meal he gave us 2 complimentary glasses of white wine which was nice, and overall i couldnt recommend this place any higher.

It was the month of February '10 when i traveled Vietnam and Cambodia for tourism. Being an Indian and a vegetarian lover, i was bit worried that i might not find the food i eat, in Vietnam (as told by my friends in Singapore coz i stay here). Then i came across this restaurant in Ho Chi Minh city named, "MASALA KITCHEN". My jaw dropped to see an Indian restaurant out there. I quickly ran to the nearest atm to withdraw some cash thinking it might be expensive to eat Indian food out there in Vietnam.
But i was happy to find that 5 US$ were more than enough to satisfy my stomach. Not only that, food was so tasty, unique and nostalgic, the moment it touched taste buds on my tongue, i recalled the memories of back home in India when i was young. Service to hospitality, everything is just up to the mark. In short its a one stop place (or palace i must say) for those who love to eat NORTH INDIAN FOOD..!! Keep it up Masala Kitchen Team..!!! I will surely visit again.
