Our very first time in Vietnam and this was a warm welcome. We were picked up at the airport and given a room above expectation for the price. The staff and owners could not do enough to help and recommend there favorite restaurants and things to do.The Ava Saigon Hotel is very central to markets, restaurants and street vendor stalls which cater for all level of travelers. We can't speak highly enough about the Ava Saigon and its staff except to say thank you for a memorable stay and we will definitely be returning.

We can't speak highly enough about the Ava Saigon; a really nice hotel, just a couple minutes away from one of HCM's main markets. Staff went above and beyond to help us and recommend things for us to do.

We made a reservation 3 days ahead and they had given the room away when we arrived so we didn't have a room. The lady working the desk was not pleasant about it.

This is the first time I've bothered to write a review but feel this hotel and staff deserve it. i stayed here with my sister over the weekend, hotel was great, walking distance to all sights in district 1 super friendly staff nothing was a problem including when they needed the owner to come with the master key for my safe. will definitely be back and will stay hereu

This was our 5th accommodation in Vietnam and we were a little disappointed with it when comparing to the others. Staff were fantastic and couldn't do enough for you. We had a windowless room which meant no natural light. Not necessarily a problem although I am used to waking up with the sunrise. Our first morning we had a tour & I kept getting up to check the clock on the wall so we wouldn't be late. Clock had lost an hour during the night so almost missed the tour. Location is close to Ben Thanh markets but there is a lack of restaurants selling cuisine other than vietnamese around the immediate area. There is no restaurant so the meagre breakfast is delivered to your room. Coffee not terribly hot by the time it arrives and there is a lack of eating room. Even though we were on the 4th floor we still got traffic noises and you the nouises from other rooms on the floor. Free laundry was a bonus and the staff gave great assistance for booking tours.

Room Tip: If I stayed here again I would slect a room with a window.
