“We miss banh mi and cafe sua da!”
Reviewed 9 November 2013 via mobile

Hanh, the younger lady, was very nice. Excellent place for backpackers as there is drinking party every night along Bui Vien. Hostel building is relatively new and we had a comfy stay. We had the big room with window which was really nice but wifi works only along the stairs (and inner rooms i guess).

We also booked tours from Hanh which were Delta tours. Had a bit of misunderstanding with Cu Chi entrance fee though.

The old lady across the street sells the best banh mi and sticky rice! We miss her a lot. Go to 102 for cheap draft beer and 100 for cafe sua da.

Arrived here around 6am they allowed us to get into a room to sleep after a long train journey, 6 hours prior to check in. We then moved rooms around 11 o'clock which was nice of the staff, clean spacious rooms, hot shower, no window so be sure to set an alarm haha!! The staff sleep downstairs on camp beds so if you have a late night expect to see them snoozing! The location is great, right in the middle of the main street, a great place to stay if u want a cheap, comfy room.

I booked last minute and was not expecting too much for the price I was paying. But unbelievably the rooms, service and location were great. Thanks to hanh for being very helpful and organizing my cab to the airport.

Right in the middle of the backpacker district, this guest house was a great way to spend a couple of nights in Saigon. Walking distance to many of the main sights, as well as literally being on a street filled with cheap beer vendors and many restaurants serving both local food and international cuisine.

It did get a little bit noisy on the busier nights of the week, and the room could have been a slight bit cleaner (such as dusting above cabinets), but I have no problems recommending this property to others. One slight thing to note is when retrieving your key from the front desk, make sure they flick the breaker to turn the Air Conditioner back on for your room.

Room Tip: Higher floors if possible

The family that runs this, in particular the girls and the lady(her name escapes me) were lovely hosts, very helpful and very informative.

The area it's in is right in backpackerland, plenty of restaurants and shops around. I'd definably stay here again, you can't really go wrong for the price and it's only a short walk to anywhere. :)

This is right in the heart of backpackers area but a great location. I was on the thirsd floor and i didnt find it noisy at all. It's a great place to meet people and one of the major hostels where you sit out the front and drink if you like and there is a shop in the hostel so you can get all your supplies. Rooms are decent and clean and the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. I would stay here again.

Located in the heart of the backpacking area, close where all the buses arrive and leave.
Rooms are quiet big and clean, you need to ask the staff if you want your room cleaned.
Try to get a room on a higher floor, downstairs it will be noisy, esp. on weekends.
Downstairs is a little shop where you can buy beverages and other stuff.

Staff is quiet friendly and they provided us with a city map and showed us the local attractions. For all other tours & information there are many tourist agencies around.

Laundry, AC & Wifi worked fine.
Don´t expect more than you pay for!

Room Tip: Get a room on 3rd floor or above, rooms x05 will face the backside of the building and might be quit...
